Reverberating bash (and power slam)

So, this skill is acting wierd. I didnt bother too much with it previously because not that many ppl used it, and those that did were tanks who posed no threat.
But lately I've been seeing this pop up more and more in ppls builds, and its getting somewhat frustrating.

First of all, its basicly undodgeable, ive been hit mid dodge while being airborne and ive been stunned while being cc immune, now its the latter one thats mostly annoying because players will use it quite frequently and while it doesnt stun you everytime (whilst being cc immune) it does happen quite often.
I know Im not the only one having this issue, cause most guildchats have some kind of QQ about this skill everyday. I wish someone like @ZOS_GinaBruno or @Wrobel could investigate this further.

    This bug with reverb is very well known. The Major Defile it gives it decent, but the CC it has is complete trash because if you're moving/dodging while you get hit with it, you'll slide back to where you were hit before you're able to breakfree, which can take up to 2 seconds for yourself to slide back.

    Thank you for this information. I have replaced an old skill on my bar with reverberating bash now.

    Reverb bash acts weird, thats for sure ...

    BUT
    1.
    What most people don't realize is, that if you don't break free from the Reverb Bash stun, you will get "off ballance" status, so getting hit by other CC or HA will actually inflict Knockdown regardless of your CC imunity, unless you block/dodge that following attack. So lot of complains about this skill are based on unfamiliarity with the mechanics.
    If the second CC is knockback or forces you into some movement (for example Stagger from Jabs or second Reverb Bash, WB, Destructive Reach, Javelin ...), THEN it makes you slide on ground due to be Knocked down and forced into uncontrolled movement

    It IS Dodgeable and Blockable

    3.
    YES when moving but getting affected by the skill the stagger animation on recieving end (due to minor desync caused by latency) "teleports" you back few steps and plays the stagger animation from there.

    Not saying that the ability is completly fine, just trying to cast some light in here

    If you start the block/dodge animation after the bash animation starts, you still eat the CC. Tested.

    This skill has been bugged for months, but I agree that a lot of the complaints are from people that are unaware of its mechanics.

    That being said I'm using it because I kinda need the debuff and the cc in my build. The more people complain/report it, the higher the chances it's getting fixed within reasonable time... so only a few months or so :tongue:

    yes ... but its general problem with other melee skills as well .. not just power bash .. same aplies to WB ometimes, probably again due to latency/LAG issues.

    Edit: it's also animation-cancel-able with regular bash, harder that other skills but still doable in combat
    Edit2: also, the stun from this ability is so short (2seconds including the 1s stagger animation), that a lot of people actually don't break it in time, so they get affected by the Offbalance status
