Stamplar DPS gear?

Hello, I am leveling a Imperial DPS Stamplar. I have been thinking about what I am going to do with him end game and I have no idea what gear to use. I know that 1p Kena, 5p Hundings, 3p Night Mothers (using dw swords) 3p agility is good for nb, or a combination of that, but I am wondering what is the best. This is what I have so far
1. (solo) 2p engine guardian, 5p hundings, 3p agility (Not sure what to do with weaps, might do switch agility and 2p hundings for 5p ravager)
2. (Group PvE) 5p hundings, 3p Night Mothers (DW swords included) 1p Kena and 3p agility or 5p ravager (jewelry included) 5p Hundings (DW included) 1p Kena, and 1p Blood Spawn

Another question, are Stamplars good at Maelstrom? I have been wanting a good char for that.

I guess Im curious if this is the truth. people I have talked to act like it isnt that bad provided you have decent gear and a realistic build. I have done regular on my stamplar and blew through it. have yet to go back and do vet though.

No, Stamina DK would be better for that at the moment. Only pick Stamina Templar if you love the animations....

What about vet dungeons? I have never seen a Stamplar in a vet dungeon, but that is probably because I have only done a few.

Imperial Stamplar is fantastic in Vet Dungeons. My Stamplar just cruises through Vet WGT and Vet ICP. He has beaten all the Trials on Hard Mode, etc. He was a monster in Vet DSA back when that was endgame content. In PvE, Vet Maelstrom is really the only place that Stamplar struggles. Just not enough versatility in terms of shields, resource management, healing, mobility, etc. Vet Maelstrom is more akin to a 1vX PvP environment than the "normal" PvE in the game. And 1vX PvP is the other notable area where Stamplar struggles.

Awesome! I was worried that Stamplars would be bad at vet dungeons.

Well, since the title did say gear... What weaps should I use for max dps? I am thinking dw and 2h, is bow a viable option?

i use bloodspawn kena hundings agility, maelstrom 2h, and sword and shield.

IMO. Magicka Templar is better than stamplar MSA. the heals are a live saver. Vigor doesn't cut it.

I am a Imperial Templar, can they still run magicka builds? I am worried I will end up being the healer or being rejected from groups if I run a magicka temp with an Imperial.

Stamina Templar is fun but it is nit in a "good" place or built for vet MSA.

Good players with access to endgame gear can and agility set (which is no small feat to acquire for an average player, the rings alone will cost in the neighborhood of 300K on a good week) can run it.

It lacks mobility, reliable self heals, and sustain on any boss fight with out add waves.

Outside of balanced warrior and burning light the passives for a stamplar are underwhelming.

If fun and I love jabs but IMO the only class in a worse place then stamplar is magika DK.

Not to say it's bad but it's not "good", magica Templars are in much better place

I'm imperial Templar. Imperial is good for the stamina to break of cc and the extra health. Plus your sweeps proc red diamond passive. I actually do more damage and have more survivability going magicka than stamina

What abilities should I use? I haven't really put a build together because I am leveling. I am thinking something around making Biting Jabs hit for a ton of damage. I will probably end up using dw and 2h, so I am thinking something like this:
Bar 1, 2h
1. Biting Jabs 2. Executioner 3. Evil Hunter 4. Rally 5. Crit Rush

Bar 2, DW
1. (No idea) 2. Breath of Life (Yes it is a magicka ability, but I don't want to pvp until later vet levels) 3. Repentance
4. Steel Tornado 5 (No idea)

I have been thinking about using a bow in bar 2, but I am not sure what abilities to use.
(P.S. How do I get minor brutality as Stamplar?)

im currently doing deltias leveling build for the harvester, most of it will change at end game but seems cool so far, running as a redguard

I either use destro staff and resto or dw and resto. Resto bar has heals and buffs. And rune focus. Got the morph that gives magicka. Resto is good for getting back magicka. Weapons only give stamina. Dw is only there for the extra spell power and extra set piece. I tend to put our more damage with a destruction staff as heavy attacks give magicka and can be strong with the Passives. It's more a trial and error and finding what works for you.

Im swapping gear around Julianos and Willpower jewels. Torugs mostly, tried Engine face but sustain isnt issue for me, if i sit in the focus. (Been wondering if i should give Scourge Harvester a try... Or Twilight Embrace....)

as the provided DPs of WoE is laughable i would suggest to switch to resto staff and siphon spirit for your secondary bar as that would immensly support your magica sustain compared to elemental drain wich only refill with elemental attacks used wich procs only once on dots aswell... and substitute WoE with vampire´s bane/prox det.

All armor Divines
5 Hunding- Chest, belt, boots, 2 daggers both precise.
4 Night mothers- Helm, Shoulders, gloves pants.
3 agility- All weapon damage Enchants.
and back bar bow. Could be Master, dead, or maelstrom if you can get it.

This build will do plenty for anything you need to DPS.

Plus it is easy to obtain, as all of it is crafted.
if you want to do VMA just swap out agility with Endurance and make change enchants according to your play.

If you want to start max stat your builds.
I would wait, new patch is coming. New gear, new builds. and updates to gear may be made.

Healing springs can swap to Combat Prayer
Vampire bane can swap to Force Pulse or the beam

I think this is perfect healing skillbars setup. It has everything: both magicka drains, repentence and shards for stamina and some damage.

I dont have tank specced templar atm but i have 3 other tanks, i juggle around just 1 set of gear between them. Its 5 set Willow path, endurance jewelry and rest pieces Song of Lamae.
