People in Azuras star complain of lag... But refuse to switch to a less laggy campaign because there is no fighting. LoL.

sounds a bit like when people say the economy is in decline and everyone stops spending.

PS4 EU. Haderus is pretty good at the moment. 3 bars red 3 bars blue, yellow only have 1 bar at peak times. It just takes a guild or two to go at eachother in another campaign and you have people flood into the campaign to partake in the action. its glorious. And the lag is much better than on Azuras. likely because only 2 of the 3 alliances are full so the server can handle it.

did'nt they remove 666 deer's to fix the pvp lag problem?.. think they should remove all of the animals/creatures as well as the questing zones and just have a map for pure pvp

Yeah, but that wasn't the problem.
Also they blamed AOE.
And later they said that it's player's fault that the server is lagging. So people should get out of Cyrodiil.

Here I was thinking...considering they fired all the original creators of the game, maybe players should tell current devs that lags started with that patch, when line of sight check was introduced?
I bet current devs are just unaware.

On PS4 launch, PvP was perfectly acceptable.
Then, with each patch and the server transfer, the lag got worse.

Today, the lag is insane:
- game often becomes a slideshow
- certain skills often do not work at all
- skill bar swaps often are ignored
- mounting often does not work at all, or people suddenly unmount
- graphics often are missing, sometimes people even get stuck in bad textures
- game crashes often or has long loading screens
...

In the current terrible state on consoles,
only the combo DPS + one-button-mashing survives in Cyro PvP.
Skilled group fights, depending on single button presses, already are dead.

But OP has a point. When I watch pc players on twitch they do not lag like console does. Like nowhere near.

I'll make a video next time I get lag on xbox and upload it. It genuinely is a whole other beast

We had reasonable discussions here for months.
At a certain point the anger of frustrated customer boils over.
This is a perfectly natural reaction.

I wonder if the ZOS guys play on consoles.
On PC, the lag still may be bearable.
On consoles, the lag now is unbearable.

Last night on xbox there was a three way fight and It honestly felt like I was in a flip book. It was insane.

When lag get's that bad. You have to just quit. There is no point trying to play. Weapon swap takes at least 3 seconds. At least.
