Reverse slice

If I'm doing only pve would reverse slice be better then executioner?

By using reverse slice on a low health target I'll be doing enough splash damage to crush still full health enemies in the area while using wrecking blow still for single targets.

Correct me if I'm wrong? I was thinking executioner was more pvp based but I keep seeing everyone use executioner.

Not in a million years

Follow up and Forceful passives get a similar effect, and they are free. Combine them with executioner

As a DPS role you need to burn down a powerful boss or an enemy player in PVP as quickly as possible.
Executioner has a very strong passive and helps you achieve great DPS number in those final fights.

And there are better options there for area based attacks. Dual wield or Bow skills are perfectly suited for burning down groups of mobs.

I've used reverse slice combined with brawler to good effect in solo PVE.

I do think executioner is better overall, and for group pve where DPS is important, but for certain builds and situations it's really strong if you can pick out the low health mob and get full scaling on the splash damage.
