Quitting

I eventually uninstalled the game. I thought I would find a way but, after several trials, it appears that I cannot play this game the way I want. What I want is to explore, to be able to go everywhere, talk to people about their traditions, observe them living and performing their rituals, without having to take quests: not possible.

Plus:
- bosses are unkillable; I'm not talking about the bosses in public dungeons but the ones the player must kill by itself. I had a level 8 character once; the boss in front of him was level 4 but there was still no way to kill it. And they are all like that. I'm pretty sure that even if we had a difficulty level system, these bosses still would be unkillable,
- ESO is all about killing; I'm fed up with killing,
- after playing Skyrim during hours on end, I'm afraid the look of the races, places, countries, are not to the par. The only credit I'll give the devs is about the Dwemer ruins: they are gorgeous. My congratulations to the people who made them. :)

To finish with, I'll never be able to get accustomed to multiple players running everywhere and acting stupidly.

Farewell.

    No, and "end quest" boss.

Can't say I disagree with your reasoning. Sorry to see you go, but the most interaction or response you'll get is when they close this thread for being a goodbye thread.

What ESO really needs is an Auction Horse.
    That's right... Horse.

I cannot agree with anything you've just written. Maybe except for the "stupidly acting" players which are indeed annoying.

I'm honestly not sure what you're talking about with bosses you couldn't kill. I remember at launch there were a couple of harvester bosses that demanded you understood their mechanics before you could clear them. And on a nightblade they were stupidly hard, because of limited AoE options at those levels. But... still.

Sounds like you thought this game was going to be Skyrim + online friends. Yeah, you were mistaken, and I frankly think ESO being marketed as an MMO should've been your first clue.

The TO needed 3 stars of post chronology to get to the result, that ESO as a MMO is very different to solo RPGs like the Elder Scrolls Games ?

Congratulations, you just won the slowest-gamer-award.

On a side note to Zenimax: Ok, your Wrothgar solo stuff wasn't successfull me seems, how about some more group instances and trials ?
Sometimes the prey turns and nips us... it's a small thing.

So let the snow flakes and unicorns dance alone until they melt or vanish from existence, we will finish up with those smart enough to stay in the glowing circle of love.

Selissi - CP 1k+ Redguard Stamina Nightblade (Ebonheart Pact)
Silmerel - CP 1k+ Breton Magicka Templar (Ebonheart Pact)
Sunja - CP 1k+ Dunmer Magicka Nightblade (Ebonheart Pact)
Suldreni - CP 1k+ Dunmer Magicka Dragonknight (Ebonheart Pact)
Sulhelka - CP 1k+ Altmer Magicka Sorcerer (Ebonheart Pact)
Sylundine - CP 1k+ Breton Magicka Warden (Ebonheart Pact)

Wait, so you wanted to hear the story without making progression through the story line in the form of quests? You also didn't want to kill anything?

It sounds like you didn't want a game at all. Sir, second life is that way. --->

    Another QQ thread.
FYI - There is no such thing as 'night capping' in a world wide MMO.
FYI - There was no paid Beta. When they launched the game the Beta was over, even if you don't think it was.
    FYI - It's B2P not F2P. There is a difference.
FYI - It doesn't take any player skill to mash keys or buttons in this game. The ones that stay alive longer have the better internet connection and speed.
FYI - The game is not broken, it still works. It just has 'bugs' that need to be fixed.
    Balance is a "Bad" thing.

Example: There were hundreds of Jedi and only two Sith in Star Wars. The Jedi wanted, "Balance in the Force" and they got it. Now there are only two Jedi and two Sith.

    Balance is a "Bad" thing.

This is an mmo. I'm not entirely sure what you were expecting in regards to people ruining around. Also, what type of boss were you talking about. Because some (harvester) ate hard at low levels, but should be doable unless you don't know the mechanics.
    PC/NA: Primarily Daggerfall Covenant.

Lennie: Breton Sorceror. 9-trait crafter on everything, purveyor of useless frippery.
