Taking the points from @Heindrich
1. Stealth gameplay has always been a popular playstyle in most games. And with the nerf to Bolt Escape, NB have a solid escape skill (that still has plenty of counters). Which means NB is the only class with an escape skill.
What needs to happen is the undoing of the Bolt Escape nerfs, so that Sorcs have a solid escape skill again. While at the same time ZOS needs to fix Gap Closer spam and making the DK Chains reliable again.
This would alrdy fix a lot of major issues in PvP, and remove one of the NB's "OP" moves (Ambush, though technically every gap closer is an "OP" move at this point)
2. This poll doesn't mean 75% of PvP'ers are using NBs. Correct. Especially since most of the voters are pure NB haters, and the NB themselves don't feel compelled to vote. It's a biased poll, created to disguise your NB hatred and to attempt to get ZOS to nerf us (1 step closer to game death, see below)
3. Good NBs are the most frustrating class to fight against. Same as with good DKs, Sorcs and Temps. It all comes down to player skill in the end. And this is why most of the NB are easy kills since they switched to this class due to the constant nerfing of Temp, the difficulty of playing a Sorc and nerfing of the DK. They aren't used to the NB yet.
The main reason ppl think there are so many NB out there is due to the fact that they turned from the worst class to the best while the other classes got nerfed
The main reason you barely saw any NB in the beginning was cuz they were broken (no OP, they were actually broken and not working). Now however they have been fixed, which is another reason they are popular right now: they're the only class that didn't get nerfed, they got fixed Ppl swtich to this class cuz they are tired of the constant nerfing and prefer the class that didn't get nerfed.
And the best solution to this right now is to undo the nerfs to the DK, fix the Templar and slightly tweak both Sorcs and NB while at the same time allowing all the classes to run both Stamina and Magicka Builds
And what I also get, is that any credibility you had regarding NB and classes is now thrown out the window. Cuz everything you told me ingame, in PM, your actions on the forums and ingame clearly state one thing: you hate NB cuz you don't like being ganked

THIS. 100% this. When I first started, I started as a Sorc. I understood the class, but maintaining a sorc was rather difficult. Especially after the Bolt Escape nerf, I simply shelved my sorc to be a crafter because that was it. I didn't want to shuck out tens of thousands of gold (and people saying that it's not that much, lol... Just lol) just to be competative with it. So I took a step back and started researching something that would probably fit my play style better. That happened to be Nightblade. Not because of cloak, not because of popularity. But because the skills matched how -I- wanted to play. I couldn't care less about what other people were playing. I still don't. I was hesitant when I had heard NBs were broken, but I took the plunge anyways.
But yes. I definitely agree with this statement. Alucardo also had it right. Don't nerf NB, rather bring the other characters up to speed. Nerfing NBs at this point would cause far more problems due to that they're starting to work now. Sure, it needs a few adjustments. I'd be happy with the magicka regen nerf while in cloak that Gina talked about in a thread way back when. But nerfing it into the 'ground', as the OP put it in Alucardo's thread, isn't going to fix the holes and gaps within the other classes. It just won't. Bring the other classes up to speed. Then we'll talk about nerfs.

The main reason you barely saw any NB in the beginning was cuz they were broken (no OP, they were actually broken and not working). Now however they have been fixed, which is another reason they are popular right now: they're the only class that didn't get nerfed, they got fixed Ppl swtich to this class cuz they are tired of the constant nerfing and prefer the class that didn't get nerfed.
And the best solution to this right now is to undo the nerfs to the DK, fix the Templar and slightly tweak both Sorcs and NB while at the same time allowing all the classes to run both Stamina and Magicka Builds
And what I also get, is that any credibility you had regarding NB and classes is now thrown out the window. Cuz everything you told me ingame, in PM, your actions on the forums and ingame clearly state one thing: you hate NB cuz you don't like being ganked

So people just "think" nightblades are the most used class because they were weak before? This doesn't make any sense, people vote what they know (what we all know) Nightblade is BY FAR the most played class in ESO (pvp) period.

All in all: this poll doesn't matter. There are many NB there, but at least half of them are bandwagoners and don't count. Cuz if the next OP class is say... Sorc, then I'm pretty sure they'll abandon NB and play Sorc instead.

1. Stealth gameplay has always been a popular playstyle in most games. And with the nerf to Bolt Escape, NB have a solid escape skill (that still has plenty of counters). Which means NB is the only class with an escape skill.
What needs to happen is the undoing of the Bolt Escape nerfs, so that Sorcs have a solid escape skill again. While at the same time ZOS needs to fix Gap Closer spam and making the DK Chains reliable again.
This would alrdy fix a lot of major issues in PvP, and remove one of the NB's "OP" moves (Ambush, though technically every gap closer is an "OP" move at this point)
2. This poll doesn't mean 75% of PvP'ers are using NBs. Correct. Especially since most of the voters are pure NB haters, and the NB themselves don't feel compelled to vote. It's a biased poll, created to disguise your NB hatred and to attempt to get ZOS to nerf us (1 step closer to game death, see below)
3. Good NBs are the most frustrating class to fight against. Same as with good DKs, Sorcs and Temps. It all comes down to player skill in the end. I just explained the real reason: bandwagoning. NB are not OP: my main is a MagBlade which is fun but not powerful at all, and I'm lvling a StamBlade and besides the initial stealth burst he fights just like any other Stam Build out there (I feel like I'm on my NA DK again)
