Why can't I marry 2 players at once?

I imagine it's the same on Xbox version - on PC at least, you can marry as many people as you like, as long as one of you has a pledge of Mara.

At first, I refused to get married because I thought I'd be stuck with that person, and what if they quit playing, etc. Now that I know there is no limit, however, I have absolutely no standards. I'll marry anyone with a pledge who can fog a mirror. XP boost is XP boost

Nope on Xbox only one at a time I tried this guy for 2 days straight it won't let me marry him. I even went as far as in game chat just randomly went behind someone at the shrine and said marry me. The randoms just said wtf, and left. . I guess this is a life lesson that marriage can be tuff sometimes ::/
