Really confused about this and struggling to find an up to date answer....
Can you currently play with other players of opposing factions outside of the dungeon/group finder or not? E.G. If I'm on Daggerfall Covenant can I group with players from an Alderi Dominion guild?

✭✭✭Unfortunately no. The only way to do so is to use the groupfinder.
You can however trick the groupfinder into grouping with the people you want - select same dungeon and start the search at the same time. If you don't end up with your friend, kindly apologize to the random person you got, kick him and try again. Works nearly flawlessly on first time if you have 3 people that look for a tank and #4 queues as a tank(just sets his role to it, doesn't mean he actually has to tank)
