Death by falling after the intro

I am guessing this was not supposed to happen, but after the intro and escape from Coldharbour, I woke up dead. Reason: fall damage. Is that still happening often? I am looking to get a friend into the game when I play this year, but that is not a great way to welcome a new player. :P

I have not had a fall death on login in long time, since they fixed that issue.Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

✭✭✭✭✭Yeah, it's been a long time since I've had a random death from fall damage on logon or zoning in to an area. It used to happen very commonly, but I haven't seen it (or heard of it happening to other people) in months.
Hopefully you experiencing this isn't a sign that the bug is back and will be plaguing us once more.

Well, there are a few places that the game wants you to jump from. One you have to die, one you have to survive. Funny thing is, it is almost impossible to survive the one you have to die at, but the one you need to live at takes some practice.Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.
