why do you want to nerf it? I suppose that every class has a gap closer skill. some skills hit harder, some less hard, what is the deal about it?
I dont get this nerf this nerf that hype. some people complain about wrecking blow spam (it is one of the strongest skill of DKs, so what the heck??).
gap closers, so what? they still can be blocked or dodge rolled, so what? learn to play!
nerf snare, nerf, sorc shields, nerf wrecking blow, nerf gap closers...all these posts are just ridiculous...

There is no reason ambush and crit rush should hit for 10k under any circumstance. There is no reason that either of these should impose that infamous mini stun that locks a player down.
The purpose of the move should be to close the gap between you and your opponent, not take away half of their health and lock them in place for a second.The gap close spam has been out of control lately and something has to be done. Reducing all damage from ambush and crit rush by 33% is a place to start. Increase the cost of spamming a gap closer within four seconds by 50% and watch the ambush spammers go away.
This would also give Templars and DKs a better chance to escape as well.

I think like dodge roll the cost of spamming it within 4 seconds of each other should show an increase of 50% cost (any gap closers) or something to stop the spam. I admit I am guilty of it to some extent when I see a sorc bolt away... I HAVE to crit rush to catch up.
