Anyone is using it? If so, then what are the results? I was thinking about Briarheart Set+ Hundings/Twiceborn Star.
From my calculation(i dont have Briarheart, cant really test it) this combo can only provide you max +150weapon damage, if procs, -100 wepon damage, if not, then standard Hundings+Agility combo...
I would really appreciate any data, especially dps tests. Cheers!

It's working out alright for me BH/Hundings. I don't know that it is "optimal" but as a stamplar and building based on it (caltrops & jabs) I find I can get the proc frequently in regular content. Not as much as I'd like in PVP. I don't have numbers right now, but I'm also only wearing a mix of VR14-16 pieces of gear so I haven't maxed anything. As long as you have a play style that gives you good chances to activate it try it. If your play style doesn't give you chances it probably isn't worth it.
Looking for broken things in hopes they may be fixed. I've given up, my game literally works differently from yours.
64M+ AP across 9 toons... kinda makes me a GO

I like it on my Khajit Stam Sorc in PvE- but I play kind of odd with dual wield/bow. It's contstantly procced with AOE from Bow (AOE poison ticks proc it too). I'm pretty much always glowing yellow unless I'm in the cooldown. It works out well if you have enough DoT items stacked and a high crit rate

I'm running 5 pc briar, 5 pc hunding's, 1 kena and 1 bloodspawn and I'm having a ton of fun! It procs really quick with caltrops and 100% crit.

That's my ideal setup but #ToBusyPVPingToFarmMonsterSets. Lol. Guess that setup was obvious... Even if I wanted to believe I had a unique idea.

I have also seen people running 2 pc agility as weapons but I prefer the monster sets. If you need some more sustain, you can also take engine guardian as head and shoulder.

    Hehe, that must be fun.
I want to use it on Imperial Stamplar. With thief mundus i should get around 75-80%crit and as templar i dont need to worry much about stamina regeneration. Should work with 2h and bow for vMA.
    Thanks!

It works ok for most content, but does not compare in DPS to 5 Hundings, 3 robust Agility, I Kena, and Night Mothers. It would be good to go with at higher levels IF you can get 3 robust v16 jewelry and don't have access to the robust Agility jewelry. TO get the most out of it, you need to upgrade to Legendary. Those tempers are too costly to risk on Briarheart IMO.

I have about 60crit with hunding and briarheart, pve its great bcuz u can whirlwind in groubs of mobs and proc the heal every spin. In pvp if you run group its prolly not bad but if your solo fighting small numbers it wont b as good. Big part is since u cant crit shields which means u miss out on the 400+ weapon damage as well as heals. I like the set but until u get at least a few briarheart pieces for v16 you are better off running agility set with hundings.
side note, briarheart drops from ic chests

This is one of those set's that need's tweak's like Shield Breaker got before it went live from PTS.

    Briarheart (increase healing)
Para Bellum (increase shield in pvp or reduce cd )
Hunt Leader (increase stamina/health return or reduce cd)

All of these set's need huge buff's. Why make a niche set if there's no point using them. These set's need to be very good for what they do. Not mediocre.

People don't look at these set's and say "wow i really should do vMA do obtain them". It's the opposite, there so average and wonky to utilize there's no point.

My biggest issue with Briarheart as a PvP player is you'll never see it proc against Sorcs. And against Sorcs you kinda need that extra damage the most.
Anyways I was never fan of bonuses that have a chance to proc, I'd rather just take the constant stats that other sets give me, and have my weapon damage where I needs it to be at all times.

Pretty good set for PvE though.

I have been messing with it as well. I dont like relying on procs in PvP, but that is where I think it is most useful (or maybe arena). I think if you get perfect traits and have access to malestrom weapons, there are some pretty potent combos for raw DPS, that might trump other crafter options. I have v16 head and shoulders in good traits, and v15 jewelry in blah traits (neck is robust).

It is definitely less DPS than my typical 5 Hundings, 1 kena, 3 agility, 3 NM setup, but the health is certainly nice. I rarely grind, but BH was great when i tried. I might give this a try when I brave arena on a stam character.

I dont like PvP and getting it to proc would be nightmare since 70% of Cyro population are mages with Resto staff(shield that you can not crit). This combo would be for going into vMA and maybe some dungeons if dps will be nice.
I dont have Imperial City DLC so i dont have access to any kena piece, i also do not have agility jewelery, got cheap endurance with x3 weapon dmg and robust. The idea is to combine heal proc+red diamond(imperial passive) to get massive heal. With atleast x5 mundus i still should get ~15% crit bonus from mundus stone and that gives me around 75% in total. In theory Jabs are x5 hit(4 jabs 1 burning light) which every hit can proc Briarheart Set. However this is just theory and when i read that so many things(proc %, some race passives, CP and all that) are broken i dont want to spend my time getting it. May the RNG be with you all.

Useless in PvP since you can't crit shields and thus the set won't proc, meaning a lost 5 set bonus. In PvE I find it pretty nice although not very reliable when it comes to the healing.

If you take agility and kena out of the equation, I am pretty sure briarheart is better than most other alternatives. Its a really neat set. Getting it to proc is not hard, but there is a cooldown. In a perfect world, you are looking at a 66% uptime. In reality its probably closer to 50-55%. Which makes it slightly less DPS than Hundings, but with a heal. Admittedly, 5 hundings, 5 Briarheart, 2 malestrom weapons (or 1 kena 1 malestrom), makes me drool a bit.

I got crappy jewelry early on, but havent had the motivation to farm the better stuff. I just do 1-2 wrothgar dailys each night and we will see what happens.

I tried it with my Hundings 5/5. I didn't care for it with my DK stamina build (had to give up to much)....but I do like it with my stamina Sorc. I would say it's a hit and miss thing that is worth trying, but nothing to depend on. The heal is crap even with high crit.......but as an add-on extra heal it's ok. The extra weapon damage is great with Hundings.

I would really like it a lot if I could get Briarheart daggers!

Doesn't sniff maelstrom weapons morkuldin set + agility kena and blood spawn or nerieneth. In pve atleast in pvp things get put up for debate because of play styles.

Does it proc on critical heals? Rally, vigor...they proc the hemorrhage passive for instance, so why not?
