Welcome to a new year in Tamriel! This year is shaping up to be one of our biggest (Nope, same amount of days), and we're excited to tell you all about it. Read a special message from Game Director Matt Firor for a first look at what's in store (Crown Store right?) for ESO in 2016.
Welcome to 2016! 2015 was a crazy, busy, awesome year for us (Not so much for us at least not in ELO(epic lag offline btw)), which we've talked about more than a few times at this point. With the millions (AND MILLIONS OF THE ROCK'S FANS!)) of players that joined the world of ESO in 2015, our player population is very strong (A lot of gym people around, and some hot girls too), and we will continue to provide ongoing content and updates on a quarterly basis, and incremental patches as needed (Wait, people said what they needed they got 0 squat nil nada. Did you mean to say : "Whatever the .... i want?"). To kick off this new year (in the teeth with lag and bugs and some weird looking crown store costumes to say the least), I'd like to concentrate on where we are and where (still on the loading screen while respawning in cyro for 5 mintues but thats normal, right?) the game is going over the next year and beyond (laughing stock of the MMO world if you keep ruining it).
The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited is a game with a great player base and community, a good solid foundation (You can't even expand on this right? right? haha who knew you were the joking type), and a very bright promising future (In Oblivion next to Molag Bal from IC right? I mean that's where you sent him since no one saw him for since like for ever). We're not perfect (Hmmm first decent true statement i read so far, i really am impressed); we have things to work on (Rolls out an unending list that will never again be adressed so enjoy the buglag fest) , but we are very happy with where we are (Really? Maybe you but not us, at least not most of us and 95% of the PVP player base). We've already announced our first two DLC game packs / Updates in 2016: Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood (Q1 and Q2, respectively), and will be working on much more in 2016, including a major change in how world zones treat player character levels. We will also be concentrating on fixes to Cyrodiil server performance (Lack of? The truth is out there Mulder all you have to do is log in and see for yourself, btw did you ever play this thing?), adding text chat to console versions of ESO, and much more.
