Whrothgar Nodes

I find it frustrating the lack of rubidite nodes I find in Whrothgar,. I only find v10 nodes,.

the grind maybe would be less frustrating if the temper drop rate is increased a little bit and the waternodes v10 as v16 just disappear.

your thoughts?

Ruby and void nodes are spawn in same spot, so You must harvest everything. It is not so hard to get enough for vr16 set.

They keep the nodes especially rare to make is harder to just craft endgame gear. I think the idea is that gathering the mats to craft such are supposed to be just as much of a pain in the a... ahem... posterior then doing daily after daily in hopes of getting a V16 set of briarheart or praiah together, or grab TV stones for buying an IC set, or do dungeons for the drops...

I can understand that idea. I may not like it, but I can understand it. And in any case, slow and steady also gets you there in the end... as long as your crafting skill is properly maxed.

Once you get enough to start doing writs it speeds up remarkably. When you get the Surveys you get something like 50-80 mats from them, so well worth it.

Anyone feel the next zone should be the same but Wrothgar be all Red ores? Silk is so bloody tedious to find, let's have it as the new Craglorn, just have it as a farming spot and public dungeon XP grind.

Really, Today i finished one x200 stock of ancestor silk after more then one month. It is retarted there is no other word for it.
Not only you need x120-x160 per item but mats from mobs and nods can be vr9-vr14 not vr15-vr16. Plus you get only x1 per item if you deconstruct it. I could agree on that if % drop of high quality upgrade materials would be increased while refining vr15-vr16 materials.

Over the past few weeks I rarely see anyone farming nodes any more. Even I stopped doing it because I'm sitting on 1000+ of each VR16 mat. I even started doing writs again to get rid of some of the mats.

Just take an hour or so to run aimlessly through Wrothgar and pick up any mats you can find. Even VR9 nodes. If you pick them up, chances are when they respawn they'll be VR16 nodes.

And this is exactly why a majority of players go with VR15 armor and VR16 weapons; the armor increase from VR15 to 16 is negligible but the weapon stat increases are fairly significant.

sofar i runned since friday through whrothgar,. and now on 3.2k unrefined mats,. all void (bloom, ore, wood) are above 600,. while all rubidite are above 400+ (except rubedite hide scraps its 185)

average i spend near 20 hours gathering this. I find this to tedious,.

least I would like to ask ZOS to please remove the v10 Star Dew,. I agree with all people here that we get why its difficult, but that should not be applied to the V16 Water.

My issue is ancestor silk yet I find rubidite a lot... I think it checks your build and if it benefits you it spawns less.

Group dungeon enemies have them same with lorkens tears in containers

okey just refined some and I would say drop rates are fine

1300 ore = 7 alloy
1800 cloth = 9 dreugh
1200 wood = 5 rosin for me

in back of my mind its a MMO game,. so things go tedious,. my only concern is then the Star dew

The Nodes need to scale to level or crafting material level, which ever is higher.

Yes but ench on armor is way stronger on vr16 then vr15
