I was so excited when I saw this news but after I calmed down I realised they will probably be US only?

ESO Gatherings and Fan Events

Now that our launch year(s) are behind us, we are planning to host fan events and parties based around major game shows like PAX East, PAX Prime, and Gamescom. We're still working on our exact show schedule, so stay tuned for details and start thinking about travel plans to come meet your fellow ESO community members, meet members of the development and community teams, and attend panels and discussions by developers.

Gamescom is in Cologne. I am actually looking to go this year, so it would be lovely to meet some of the ESO team!

I live pretty close to Seattle (just a few hours drive and an international border - or a few hours train ride), so I might actually go to PAX Prime. Probably not, though, because I'm already going to Lock & Load in Seattle this year with a bunch of friends, and I don't know if I can justify traveling to another convention there.

I have family who live in Portland, Oregon. Seattle is amazing. The only place I'd move to if I ever moved abroad!

I really want an opportunity to meet the team and some forum buddies too. Obviously you're a bit too far from the UK but maybe I can hold a Skype party sometime. Other than that I hope they decide to do something in the UK too.

I've always said that if I had to live somewhere in the USA it would pretty much have to be either Seattle or Portland. A lot of the things I like about Vancouver are things that Seattle has in common with us, and the same goes for Portland (although the list of similarities between Vancouver and Seattle isn't exactly the same as the list of similarities between Vancouver and Portland). But I prefer Vancouver to either B)

And of course, if I were to live in the UK it would have to be in Liverpool or London, but that's really just because that's where I have family & friends.

Even though we only have a handful of conventions we're planning to attend, you guys should organize some meet ups too! Who knows, maybe we could work something out too on our end.

I lived in Liverpool briefly as it's where my ex is from. We lived by the Docks. I didn't enjoy it due to problems at home but the city itself is amazing. Always something going on and incredibly cultured. London is the same but often in patches rather than the whole of London. Camden is my favourite. I have friends there too

Ooh, I'd be happy to organise the UK ones  I arranged a lot of meet ups with a big rock festival in the UK. I used to be in the focus group so there was a bit of travelling and getting local hotel details etc. I loved it

Well my family in Liverpool is actually in Bootle, so it's not actually in Liverpool itself, but it is in the Liverpool City Region... And I always find most people I talk to are more likely to know Liverpool than Bootle. Either way, I come from a family of Scousers :) But I hope nobody will hold that against me lol

I like Clapham in London, but I think that's partly because that's where my friends live and I've always stayed there when I've been in the city. It feels like my home base in London.

Why? Is it in Baltimore this year?

Really we do it without like, the musical instruments. This is the only musical: the mouth. And hopefully the brain attached to the mouth. Right? The brain, more important than the mouth, is the brain. The brain is much more important.
