How will armor work after vet is removed?

Thats what I want to know too, why I want to spend millions of APs on Monster Sets if its scaled.

im so confused on how this system will work

The current plan is to convert each vet rank requirement to a 10 cp requirement.

So VR1 gear becomes CP10 gear
VR5 gear becomes CP50 gear
VR16 gear becomes CP160 gear

Otherwise everything stays the same. They have not announced any plans to raise the max gear level any time soon.

UM...... the cp cap is 501. so will there be 501 cp gear?

im hoping not especially if they raise it
im thinking armor cap at 160 or something and then the excess points will just go towards stats

Yeah, I think if scaling is gonna be the way of the future, Monster Sets should be more powerful and not be part of the scaling.

Not for a long time, no. They have said they have no intention of having gear gated at the cp cap.

So basically nothing changes. They get rid of vet ranks but continue to raise level cap anyway and call them CP ranks now.

So sometime in the future, all that VR16 (CP160) gear you grinded is going to be useless once they come out with a higher tier and make you grind it in the new DLC (BOP of course).

Please ESO community, don't get fooled again. This is essentially the same thing as Vet levels, they are just account wide and it still results in level cap raises and gear grabs.

And please don't tell me "They have no intention of doing that for a long time." They also had no intention of raising VR ranks past VR14. We all know what happens to their intentions.
