Please.

The days of 1vX are over. The days of 1v1, 1v2, 1v3. are over.

The minute you see someone and attack, their 20man zerg comes out of stealth and you are dead.

How come you are dead...they just came out of stealth?

20man is not a zerg but a full raid group (24 actually).

I really don't think you should be playing ESO PvP.

Even without groups though, people still follow the majority.. it's the sneaky groups who go elsewhere and attack the line that provoke small scale (usually) PvP with the enemies that choose to defend ASAP.

It never ceases to amaze me when people complain about large scale PVP..... the game is intended for 24 Man pvp groups...

Exhibit 1) Check out the Original Trailers for the PVP combat - Nothing small about it and for a large portion of the community, the reason we bought into this game.

Exhibit 2) Next time you have a spare 10 seconds, go to the LFG tab and select Cyrodiil - "This is a 24 Player Activity"

I play/lead mostly in medium to large groups, but on my sorc I solo/duo and I know there are small scale battles to be found. Eventually you'll run into a group that is a little too big for you and you'll get zerged down, but I honestly find that exhilarating. You push your own boundaries and see how much you can bite off until you get overwhelmed, then try again.

Being beaten by share numbers isn't great, but it teaches you to be selective about the battles you fight 'vs' the battles you 'flight'..... As @pilb0xer would say, "Run v Xing"

Exactly.... already there some who will purposely stack multiple 24 man raids in the same place..... Halfing the group cap just means they have 6 groups instead of 3.

Haha yeh, my post was like the best case scenario for my NB. PhatGrimReaper's scenario happens more often than not! Though there is one too many Crit Rushes in there ;)

Even more often it's more like... It's a trap! *mashes button for immovable brute but nothing happens* *turns ever sooo slowly as if caught in thick mud* *dies* *curses* *respawn at nearest keep* *wishes he had 20 friends to return the zergball favour* :)

Actually this is my biggest complaint with the PVP is 20 people coming out of stealth out of nowhere. IMO only nightblades should have stealth, this game is by far more of an MMO than an Elder Scrolls game so everybody doesnt need stealth. I dont even play a Nightblade. To me it just isnt a fun mechanic to have a zerg all come out of stealth in the middle of nowhere. I am sure some people love it but i dont see what makes it fun for either side. You dont even get to really pvp the person.

The problem that you are not addressing is that, these 24 man groups, are highly hostile. They require you to be on TS, they require you to have a 'role' that they 'want' you to be. They want everybody to 'stack on crown'.. who wants to play with this hitleresque style?

    Think about it.

    OK. good point

then i have a suggestion, ZOS.

Make AP returns so little when 8+ group that people dont want to be in a big group. That would solve it.

Not all PVP groups are so serious. It comes down to you as a player..... sometimes I want the structure of an organised guild run, sometimes I want to run around solo ganking, sometimes I want zerg surf and sometimes I just want to goof around with the boys. At the end of the day any team activity requires commitment, skill, organisation and discipline to be on top competitively.

If you don't like the structure, form an easy going group.... If you want to compete on a high level, commit to an organised guild group.

The people that run me up the wrong way are the ones that ask for an invite to group, then want to go off on their own trying to make a 1vX video...... if solo/small scale is your thing, don't join a &*^$ing organised group!!

so what you saying is group pvp or gtfoh? well ye, then i get you.

No, what I'm saying is..... if you CHOOSE to run solo, there is a chance you'll run into a large group and get steam rolled... If you choose to run in a pug group that does their own thing and isn't organised, you'll eventually run into an organised group and get steam rolled. You can play however you want... I enjoy all three styles of AvAvA (Solo, Small Man & Large Scale), but you can't expect to conquer the world in pug formation.

Understand that it's YOUR choice not to be in an organised group and therefore you can't expect to achieve organised group success. Not all of us like running around PVP like headless chickens without a cause.
