Making a nightblade

In anticipiation of Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood, I've decided to make a nightblade character. Would like some ideas/help with the build, both general and for leveling.
I'll likely go for the archetypichal dual daggers + bow setup, and full medium armour. Race, I first decided Dunmer, since I'm EP, Dunmer is my second-favourite EP race, and the bonus to dual-wield. But since Abah's Landing will most likely be in DC territory (Hammerfell), I've also been thinking about making her a Redguard in DC instead... For a Redguard I'd guess full stamina build would be the most fitting, but what about Dunmer? Also would really like some tips/advice on the best skills setup while leveling, CP distribution (have about 175 CP available), what Mundus stone to use, armour set to craft, etc

Dunmer is not the best option for a nightblade, if you plan on doing magicka and stamina on the same character go imperial. If you want pure stamina id say redguard/bosmer/khajit, all 3 are awesome. Also don't even look at the xp increase on any type of weapon. By the time I got to vr16 on my stam templar I had 2h, dw, 1h/s and bow all at lvl 50. Also don't use full medium, you want lvl 50 in all types of armor.

The crit rating of Khajits is currently not working as intended so keep that in mind while making your choice.

Mundus stone: Warrior (weapon dmg), Thief (crit rating) or Serpent (health + stam regen)

Armor sets: while leveling you probably want to use crafted sets.
For DW/2H setup you can go with 4x Night Silence and 5x Hundings Rage.
For 2H/bow setup you can go with 3x Ashen Grip and 5x Hunding Rage.

Do you have explorer pack or imperial edition?
If so, don't do dunmer. Follow the suggestions the others have posted.

Now if you want a magicka nb, dunmer is actually not a bad choice.
