Cannot install game data, quit unexpectedly?

I updated before the servers went up and got a manifest patch error which prompts me to either wait for an hour or do a repair.

The last time I did a repair it took an ungodly amount of time so now I am restoring the last version from a backup and will update from there.

Do you have a backup of the ZOS folder?

The Patch Mainfest error is something you can pretty much ignore. It only shows up because the Launcher for some reason looses communiction with the Servers, not because there is a problem.

In fact, if you see it, you can figure out real quick if you need to deal with it, just launch the game directly from the EXE, not the launcher. If you get in, then you don't need to worry about it. Heck, even closing the Launcher and re-opening it should get rid of the manifest error message, but not always. Even then, I can launch the game directly and bypass the launcher when it is sqwacking about the Manifest errors, as long as the game is updated.

Mmm, this is true also. I never even use the launcher unless I need to patch, much easier and less hassle to just run the .exe directly.

This elders game it is my first game on PC. I did posted my problem in Technical Suport. But no help so far....every time I clicked the install button. And it is said, " setup quit unexpectedly ". Don't know what is the deal!!!! Hopefully, someone can help me solve this matter....thanks!!!

Make sure your firewalls and anti-virus is turned off for the install. If you run a firewall there are ports you can open for best game performance.
