Hi ZOS, I play the NA server. The game ran perfectly fine before the maintenance yesterday, however since then I have been experiencing really high ping rates and really low frame rates no matter where my character is in game. I have trouble shot everything I could think of on my end and nothing fixed this, leaving me convinced there is something wrong server side. Thank you.

    If it was server-side, everyone else would be reporting the same thing. Unless it's particular to certain hw/sw setups. But something is obviously gone awry somewhere.

    Some general tips below;

    First, and foremost - if you're one of these people that never shuts their machines off. Try a fresh restart of the system. If that's not the case, see below.

    Have you tried temporarily removing your UserSettings file?. (located: Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\...\UserSettings.txt)

    If you move it to your desktop, the game will create a new one, and you can quickly setup your graphics options, etc, again.

    You can copy your current one back in later, if that wasn't related to the problem.

    Also to eliminate the possibility of some addon you're using has become a problem after the restart (for whatever reason) - disable them temporarily and just check.

    ----

    You could also try resetting your modem, or if you're confident in doing so, you could try opening the ESO-related ports from your router/modem.

    You can use this guide to do so - http://portforward.com/english/applications/port_forwarding/The_Elder_Scrolls_Online/

    Check what modem you have (usually on the reverse side by the passwords, etc), and select the model from the list to get the appropriate tutorial.

    Update: In the last few hours I tried every suggestion given by these two nice persons, the last thing that was tried *by my fiancee cause lets face it, I'm a dummy when it comes to computers* was opening the ports... Which is what actually fixed the issue. The game is once again playable for me, which I will be doing just as soon as I finish this post.

    Thank you both for the help in solving this issue.
