Is Reflective Light bugged?

Hey all,
I noticed something strange about the Templar skill Reflective Light. The tool tip says:

"Upon activation, you gain major prophecy, increasing spell critical rating by 2191."

Before I cast this, my spell crit is 42%. After I cast this, it still says 42%. I also have the FTC add on that shows buffs, and it does not show the major prophecy buff. It DOES grant the Dawn's Wrath passive which states:

"Activating a Dawn's Wrath ability grants minor sorcery to nearby allies, increasing spell damage by 5% for 20 seconds."

FTC does show the minor sorcery buff, and my spell damage goes from 2057 before cast to 2159 after.

Am I missing something, or should I be seeing an increase to my spell critical rating?

Thanks,
S.

It doesn't stack with mage light :)

It sounds like you've already got inner light on. As @Ra'Shtar said, you can't stack more than one major prophecy buff.

Oh, ok. I forgot about mage light. That makes sense.

    Thanks all. :)

Which brings us to a good point for Templar rebalancing... If they take the major proph buff off and make the base damage of the spell better (via making it magic based, etc), it'd be a pretty viable ranged attack to build around.

More likely with Thieves Guild release:

    Templar

    Dawns Wrath
-Increased enduring rays passive from 10/20% to 50/100%. Now your Reflective Light DoT will tick for even longer! (at proportionally less damage per tick)

-Reflective Light DoT only affects primary target, and only one target at a time to compensate for huge buff we gave you. (ie, the Eclipse phenomenon)

That is definitely more likely. Or possibly:

    - Reflective Light now heals 3 targets for x health instantly and x health over 6 seconds. Tooltip reads, simply, "Heal dammit!"

The base damage on this could be increased by 1000 and keep the prophecy buff without being over powered in pvp. While I am talking about Dawns Wrath abilities it would be nice if unstable core did more damage since it is cc breakable, or at least apply a nasty snare if it is broken, really anything more penalizing than 1k damage would suffice.

If you want to crank up your Critical Strike chance, get a 5 piece Julianos set. My Templar and Sorcerer runs 65% Critical Chance with Julianos and Inner Light and 5 pieces of Light Armor. The huge boost to Spell Power is nice too.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.
