Discuss: Abilities that bring you out of Hidden (PVP)

Why is it that half of the abilities in the game are able to be activated whilst in hidden and others cannot?
The problem with this is that Stamina based classes are able to buff themselves up in stealth whereas Magicka classes cannot. Although this isn't a Stamina vs Magicka issue, it's just why not make all abilities be castable in hidden or make all abilities not castable in hidden?

    Hmmm,

    The way I see it some skills are inconsistent but not everything you listed above. Imo things that only buff (rally,surge etc etc) u should be able to be casted in stealth. Things like vigor/summoning pets or putting some Aoe on the ground should bring you out of stealth cos they affect more than just you.

    Because it just kinda makes sense no? Like if u shoot a big ball of light (flare) it would reveal your location yes?

    That's a great list...kudos...must have taken some effort.

    Do you have an issue with any specific one? When they're together like that, the intent becomes clearer. Abilities that get you prepped mostly keep you hidden, where damage-dealing abilities do not.

    The discussion I see most is the healing (vigor, rally). I get why this irks some players, but I'm sure ZOS beta tested both ways and determined it works better as a sneak-keeper. If you think about it, rally lasts 33 seconds. If it broke sneak, I'd still use it, but like I use retreating maneuvers...duck behind cover, then sneak and still enjoy the benefits in sneak. If they nerfed it, it wouldn't be the end of the world, and it wouldn't really change much for me.

    In fact, it might even make gameplay worse. If rally broke sneak, I predict what you'd end up with is a character proofing in and out for a half second then relocating. If enemies missed that, it changes nothing compared to the current play style. But if someone notices the sneaker, the whole Zerg might go running all over like crazy. That sounds fun at first, but it could create obnoxiously confusing battles.

    I'd like to see some sorc abilities retain sneak...this class is overpowered in some ways, but encouraging sneak could be cool.

    Dark Exchange shouldn't bring you out of stealth even tho it does.

    Immovable doesn't.

    I like how there's a question mark next to inferno. No one gives a crap about that skill to even test it out xD
