Quicker way to level individual skills?

Just wondering if there is a quicker way to level and individual skill? I know adding more skills to your bar as you are leveling will speed up the skill line as a whole but want to know if there is a way to level an individual skill quicker?

I just put the skill out while grinding/questing/farming mobs. The lower level skills in the skill line take no time to max out at all, the end skills take a little while. I'm aiming to get enough skill points and skills leveled for each character of mine (one if each class) so i can simply swap gear and skills to be stamina or magicka based.

Getting skill points is my time gate...

Put the skill on both of your bars... and if you don't do that, make sure you turn in quests with the bar the skill is on active.

Skills on the active bar - and only the active one - gain their own level XP every time you earn XP from exploration, picking locks, killing mobs and turning in quests.

Grinding with an XP scroll is the fastest way.

Why can't we have a writ to unlock exp scrolls?

It depends on the specific skill.

Class skills level by having them on the active bar when exp is gained as well as using them to kill NPCs

Weapon skills work the same as class and benefit from using the weapon.

Passives work a little different depending on the passive but generally it's the same.

Guild skills or alliance skills can be different like soul

Which skills are you working on?

Do you want to grind or level during Normal play

I'll be hanged! I have never thought of this.Since we can change the skills at will,rearrange them to level the lower leveled ones while grinding.

That's exactly what i did on my dedicated PvP character.

I maxed every class skill-line, weapon skill-line, armor skill-line and guild skill-line to 50 with the exception of a few morphs i deem utterly worthless.

This allows me to easily switch my character from stamina to magicka and back using any armor/weapon combination i want.
