If you think your staff is under performing, consult your local craftsman! They can tell you if making a new staff from hard wood is right for you. Consult a former adventurer to see if your knees are healthy enough for your pulsating staff adventures!

Always use protection.
It does not matter if you're using your Resto staff.
I'd recommend a good Hardened Ward if you're going to be swinging your staff all over Nirn.

I have various methods of making sure I get and make the best use of my wood. The trick, once you have it... Is you need to make sure you keep it... Don't give it up all at once... Because you never know as you progress through all the towns in Nirn... That you might make better use of it in the next.

You might want to try rubbing some rosin on it. It will improve the quality of your wood and make it more potent.

You should use as much as needed to have 100% chance of improvement otherwise you may loose your wood forever.

I've heard making your wood(en) staff gold really makes people want to use it, add a shock enchant for that extra impressive feature.

Also don't forget to repair it, it'll be quite a problem if it's break and i'd cry myself.... because it's expensive of course.
