I lag like crazy in Azura's but Chillrend is fine, presumably because it has a lower population. They seem to have set the max pop so high that the game can't run properly when its full. Skull of Corruption is a new campaign in Cyrodiil for NA right? Is it full?

There used to be 3x ppl on the servers with less lag then now. They just completely destroyed the game with all those *** unfinished patches.
Cant any dev chime in?
Is it on the to do list?
How high on the list?
Does Zenimax even care it lags?
Is it a low priority ?
Is it working as intended for Zenimax?

They've already covered this in their confirmed fixes coming with next dlc/major update. You're not going to get a dev to comment. It would be a mod and they will just refer you to what I said previously.

Your complaints are all over the place. First it's disconnections, then it's lag, then it's end game. Go to the support forums or log an official ticket and stop whining.ZOS isn't upgrading their servers, they are addressing the lag issues in Cyrodill over the next few patches....or by Thieves Guild. Watch a ESO live episode once in awhile and stay informed.Played some PvP today, had a good group. But missed out on lots of AP, unable to properly contribute and got kicked from group a few times thinking I left.
This wasnt even Azuras Star, it was Skull of Corruption.
Some good battles, yet all I could do was watch as my screen turned from active to frozen then I get DC'd. It happened too often to count.
As a vr 16, PvP is pretty much all there is for end game after you complete Cadwells Gold.
And how can I enjoy that when PvP doesnt even work? Everything lags too much to play.
And not its not my Internet. I can say that because I can play WoW on a 4-5 year old laptop with out DCs on Alterac Valley, which is 40 vs 40.
I can play Planetside 2 on PS4 and not DC. That game is free yet runs better than ESO even when you have close to 100 fighting over a small area.
Even DCUO on the PS3 runs better, I didnt get DC'd from that game either.
So why cant ESO play as trouble free as those old/free games?
I know servers arent cheap, but how was this not part of the long term plan? To upgrade servers as the population grew, or just to upgrade servers so PvP is smooth.
Werent resources put aside for the long term or the foreseeable future upgrades needed to keep this game running?
I want to like this game, but priority on making the game run so we can actually play it as intended isnt happening.
Everyone comments on PvP lag, well almost everyone.
Id prefer no new content with better servers than more DLCs with a server that lags so much you feel cheated paying for anything.
Something really needs to be done about PvP lag. It needs to be addressed now, not when people start to move on.
http://youtu.be/_QbrrLZfzjQUnfortunately many performance situations can't be solved by throwing more hardware at the problem. I could write a 3 line statement of code that would bring the most powerful supercomputer array/cluster in the world to its knees in seconds.
ESO is kind of like that. It needs real optimization not additional hardware. I think the real problem is likely due to the fact they're working with middleware engines that they didn't write from themselves.

Brian Wheeler explaining Cyrodiil lag and what they are doing - fast forward to 44 minuteshttp://youtu.be/_QbrrLZfzjQ
I play on Xbox One now and have NEVER had a DC...ever. Might be network or it might be your PS4. You might want to make sure your PS4 isn't overheating, vents blocked, etc. Game freezes on console normally are always overheating related. DC are network related and not a normal occurrence of the gaming engine. Large MMOs run hot and large battles can heat up any PC or Console.
Who cares that you played WoW. That was on a PC and besides, comparing games is like apples and oranges. Different game engines, different texture packs, different demands on the cpu.
As far as end game, so you've done all the 4 man and 12 man trials and dungeons? You have all the monster mask sets from undaunted pledge runs? End game in ESO has multiple facets, try some other things.
Watched the video. Good to see they have plans for the lag.
I thought it was because the servers werent able to handle all the constant info flying around.

See...'you thought' and you were wrong. No one is denying that lag isn't there and it isn't a problem, but a client that is DCing isn't lag.
Not much better on PS4.On PC EU, Azura is unplayable on a daily basis.
Exactly. I also play arena district now on PS4 because of this reason.leepalmer95 wrote: »I don't get 1 bit of lag in the IC though
The arena district is now the new pvp place, no lag, usually 40vs40vs40 or such.
Well before ESO was released to console one could read the PVP forums (if nowhere else) and discover that the game had huge issues with lag and latency issues - particularly in Cyrodiil.
And yet people still went and bought the console game.
I get that a consumer should expect the game to perform somewhere near acceptable standards and perhaps even expect the game to perform as advertised. But really why think about buying a game that has been out for quite awhile and not read up on how the game has performed so far?

I did read and stay away from eso. But then a friend bought it, told me how good it was.
So I thought "ok, seems like the issues were patched".
I forgot to consider that my friend has zero MMO experience. So ESO to him is just skyrim with players.
Its one of the biggest regrets in terms of game purchases I have. And wish I could refund it but it was too late by the time i realised ESO wasnt what it was advertised.
To make it worse I play solo mostly since my friend quickly moved onto other games.

This is a problem i realised qute late after pc launch. ESO is babys first MMO - i have a feeling that because of TES paint job much higher percentage of players in ESO didnt play any MMOs before that it happens to other titles. Furthermore im surprised how many people played only WOW before.
The above results in people not beeing able to notice how far off from quality standarts ESO really is, and when they do its late in game and they already a. bought the game (ca-ching) and b. subbed for many months (again) or bought 2 dlc's (guess).
