Trinimac Medium Helmet

Greetings all!

I've now scourged through the Orsinium DLC and completed every bit of content there is to complete, and I'll let you know that even before the announcement for the DLC, I was super hyped for the Trinimac Medium gear (The one that has a cool mask with a hood over it!)

Though, after now 30+ hours in Orsinium, I've effectively discovered that there are 3 new type of sets to be gained:

Light, Trinimac's Valor
Medium, Briarheart
Heavy, Pariah

These sets are as many of you know, bind on pick-up, and therefore not tradeable. The light and the heavy are both of the new Trinimac style, where instead.. for some mysterious odd reason, the medium set is a mix of Reach and something new, but NOT the Trinimac set.

Is there anyone out there that has ever attained one of the Medium Trinimac armor pieces showcased on both the NPC's and in the preview?

Personally I would really love to get my hands on this mask, as it would suit my vampire character just perfectly, but is it even obtainable? I've asked around, and I cannot find a single guy that have seen it drop.

If anyone wonders specificaly what mask I speak of, it is this:

That's the Para Bellum set from the arena. The set gives a damage shield after avoiding damage (seen as a blue orb). Also 6 of the sets are from the arena, no style is complete from one area alone. The pariah set is Malacath style, the Glory set is the heavy Trinimac style.

Thanks for the correction, so this "Para Bellum" is only obtainable from the arena? Is there a requirement for Normal or Veteran?

No, it drops from both. Just remember it is in the same drop list as all of the other sets and random items that aren't part of any set. I've been lucky and gotten 2 of the helm but if you are looking for it then be prepared for more rng than the overworld drops.

They don't drop from particular bosses. Each arena on completion spawns a chest, and this chest can either drop a generic set piece or one of the armor pieces from any of the 6 sets.

Quick question, I have farmed the arena (normal) about a 1000 time, I've had all sorts of set, all sort of pieces, even parabellum, but I've never had any jewlery from parabellum.

is it possible to have parabellum jewlery in normal arena?
Has anyone ever had one? or am I loosing my time

U can craft trinimac style with the next patch.
Just in case u dont want the given Setbonus.

So far as I've heard, the jewelry only comes from the chests in the last two rounds and is very, very, very rare.

Normal and Veteran drop the same items, except for the Maelstrom weapons. In normal mode you get VR15 drops and a VR16 drop on the last stage. In Veteran mode you get VR16 drops and a maelstrom weapon on the last stage.


Also as has been mentioned.. the game has special tech that if you want 1 specific item, it won't drop at all. ever.
