Help with "The Dominion's Alchemist" quest, please!

I am at the point where it's telling me to "Activate the Eastern Keystone".. I have literally been wandering around this dungeon for hours over the course of the last week and can't even remotely get close to finding how to get to that elevated part of the map. I have tried talking to Kazdi, the one who has her hands tied, I have tried to open that big door that's locked, I've tried touching the Keystone holder, nothing.. I've even watched YouTube videos and saw people beat this quest without ever finding that keystone. Can someone help me figure out what I'm missing? It's driving me absolutely crazy, especially since now this is literally the ONLY quest stopping me from beating the entire Cadwell's Alamanac since I skipped it for a while. Any help would be SO appreciated!

I think I know the quest you're talking about and it took me a good while to figure out the route to take....all while having done it on two other toons previously!

Start heading in the direction of where the keystone is. Every new fork/turn/corner, pull up your map. If you start finding yourself going down, back track to where you were last. That's the method I used and I eventually found it.

Turned out I didn't know there were other preceding quests to get the Keystones before I got in there.. usually if something is a prerequisite you'd have no choice but to have to do it first, thank you though!
