Do node farming hacks exist? Is it even possible?

I ran up to a couple of crafting nodes collecting mats, and someone beat me to the first one, so I went for the second one which was right by both of us. By the time I clicked on the second node he had finished collecting the first node and was in the second. I noticed he didn't go through any animation of collecting from the node at all. It typically take around 3 seconds for me to go through the animation and collect materials from the node. Does this seem about right from your experience?

I followed this person around a bit and just watched him hit node after node and didn't see any animation collecting wood, weeds, or ore. Does this sound right or am I just late to the game like I was with animation canceling, which I only learned about 3-4 mos ago

Has anyone else seen this? Maybe just lag? I really didn't think it was possible to instantly harvest a material node.

Cp harvest passive and difference in connection?

Ah ok I will check out the CP passive. I forgot about that completely. Thanks! I was hoping there wasn't some new hack, this guy was fast.

Getting the passive is very very OP

W/o Passive: 2 strikes on an ore node

W/ Passive: 1 Strike on an ore node

they do excist tho. 1 minute google search and you will find those kind of hacks that will basicly make you see things through walls and such.

Very likely it's the CP passive and auto loot, together they make for very rapid farming.

yea..... havent seen him much lately, but there was a guy on this forum who was also on a core website that was owned by people who hack every game. He was writing programs for people that requested it on the other site. I warned ZoS to watch the guy, but instead I got in trouble lololololololololol

for that very reason I have stopped giving two craps about people hacking/exploiting this game because until they are publicly displayed as being punished in hopes to deter others from doing it, we will get what we have today.

Ok the Gatherer CP reduces the time by 50%, I am about 100 CP off from getting I guess. But now I'm not sure if it's the CP, this guy took zero swings on wood/ore nodes, it was basically instant. I haven't seen anyone do that before but can't really say I have paid much attention to it, but I will now.

Anyway, it's a real shame if there is a hack for it.

If it was connection I think I would notice this more frequently.
