Why does power extraction do magic damage yet scale off stamina and weapon damage?

    I agree. Also, why does it not heal the caster like sap? This skill needs a reevaluation from ZOS.

    Although I hate the stamification of the NB class I have to agree with this one. The lack of heals made (a little) sense in the original state where PE worked as the more powerful buff for magicka and weapon damage. Even then it did not warrant the heal sacrifice due to the it depending on number of target hit. In its current state it is yet another pretty terrible NB skill.

    There is however the fact that if PE healed there wouldn't be much difference between the mag Sap builds and Stam builds. It would also be way OP considering that Stam has access to Steel Tornado and Mag has only Proxy in the best case.

    A valid point. I would be satisfied with PE doing physical damage instead of magic. As it stands PE does roughly 1k damage more then sap even with 100 cp invested in mighty. That and the heal makes sap the more desirable of the 2 morphs.

    It's the same issue with Killers Blade. it makes these skills inferior to other AOE and execute options.

    It was fine back when CP didn't exist. But now since there's separate nodes for magic and physical. It's not just NB's that suffer from this though. Sorc has no useful stamina morphs at all. DK doesn't have many either (though it has the only physical ultimate in the game)

    Good point. I hope they change it when they rework some of the skills.

    I have every character level 50, both a magicka and stamina version.

    RIP my effort to get 5x v16 characters...

    Latest dev post suggests they are going to address this. They are considering a CP system change for "No longer requiring players to invest in multiple different stars if their build does more than 1 type of damage"
