Combat Mechanics in Cyrodiil

There seems to be a problem with the combat mechanics in Cyrodiil, and it is becoming annoying. It looks like I am standing there while I am being murdered; however, I can assure you that I am activating my abilities on my keypad, they just don't seem to be registering with the game until it is far too late. I know that it is the mechanics, because I am not having quite the same problems in PvE. Please would Zenimax take a look at this and fix the problem. It started happening with the Imperial City release, and has been getting steadily worse since then. Thank you.
