Is the PC community really dead?

Been 2 months since I returned to the game since launch and I realised that it's hard to find any established guild that is recruiting. Asked in forum, asked in chat, asked everywhere and it seems no one is responding.

If this keeps up, I'll just quit the game. While there are several things I can do on my own, things like pledges and group dungeons I can't do on my own, which really sucks because I'm forced to group up in order to actually get to enjoy the content.

Yes, I know. I should be looking harder but I haven't had the luck of finding players to play with in this game, sigh...

No, the community is not dead. At least not on PC EU. There's plenty of guild recruitment advertising in /zone every day (in all zones, except possibly the vet campaigns as I don't play there) I don't know how it is on PC NA.

Ah, yes, I'm playing on NA. I'd move over but I've got most of my things on NA, let alone the grind of my character that's already vet.

I'm in an active guild and I see zone chat constantly lit up even in late hours with guilds recruiting. I can't say I have had your experience at all, sorry you keep getting bad luck with finding people.

I do see people chatting, but most of them are either selling or probably recruiting for a freshly made guild.

Heh, I'm part of 3 guilds full of people on NA, 2 of which I run regular events with. Each of those guilds has done recent recruiting.

Is it because you're not a Veteran yet?

spend a couple days in Wayrest at different times. Guild recruitment is large there

I'm on PC NA and I literally see guild recruitment spam all the time. O.o But yeah, letting people know your alliance and what you're looking for people may be able to help.

I tried posting in the guild recruitment section but hardly found any reply.

My main is an AD and I play on NA.

People are still there, just a bit less active since there hasn't been new group content for a while and most guilds are all about grouping. No one runs Trials anymore because they're v12 while everyone is v16, same for vDSA, and most of us have enough friends by now to find groups for dungeons.

That said I have an alt on AD NA who could probably run with you. She isn't in any (active) AD guilds though and I don't run her that often because I still need to finish the damn leveling(v13>.<) but still :P

No, it's just a lot of us also spend time in the Commonwealth.


My guilds have been recruiting pretty regularly on NA. We generally have a full guild for a couple of days though. One of them only cleans out once a week.

There isnt much to do, most people had over 501 CP when new CP-system came. Only content worth to do now is VMA. Im hoping that Housing is gonna bring tons of things to do, from alt making to endgame stuff, I kind of hope Housing ties it all together. Not to mention its Christmas, tons of new games so people are playing them, at least Im.

That's cool. I'm looking for more AD players to do stuff together. My GT is Hakenden.

I'm just waiting till I hit vr16 to do the stuff in there, since there are so much of content I've yet to do e.g. Cadwell and general PvE quests.

It's a pity... from what I've read, chatting is limited and makes communication tougher in that sense.
