At some point, yes. ZOS is working on it. At the same time they have to work on many aspects to keep the game going.

Let's just make a new thread about this every day!!!!

I don't think they should. Simply put, something in this game has to be permanent, you can already change skills/ morphs/ attributes.

If they give alliance ranks account wide, I'm okay with rerolling another character.
But I won't grind for Combat Frenzy 2 and former emperor again. On every character.

I hope race changes never come at all. That being said, if they ever do implement it, I hope it has servere restrictions. Like a 2 year change limit or an exceedingly long, difficult, really expencive quest that can only be done so many times.

Yes race changes were confirmed to be coming in the last eso live. But as for class changes, they gave a flat out No.

10K Crowns, all achievements, skillpoints, etc get wiped, and you start at level 1 in the Wailing Prison.

Race change will come, either with, or in the wake of the long-promised character recustomization feature. I won't be likely to use it (no, not even for my argonian dragonknight or nord sorceror...) but I don't begrudge it to those who really, really want to change their character...
As long as its a proper racechange, and not some cheesy "cherry pick your passives" feature, that one I'd hate.

The one thing that might tempt me into changing any of my characters races woul be if they added new races for purchase in the crown store, and I got a "Hey, that one would fit this character idea better then what I made..." moment. We'll see if that ever happens.

That'd still be called "rerolling", nordy guy ;)
Yeah, we know you have the very idea.
But it will come, so lets try to guesstimate a reasonable approach they might take.
And no additional resets is what the very idea is all about. Cost... well... somewhere around mount prices I'd say sounds reasonable? Say, 2500 crowns for a race change, that may put off the casual FotM chasers, yet be reasonable for those who feel strongly enough about it... but I suppose in time we'll see what the powers that be decide on that matter.

    Don't be so angry, Nord.

I agree with this completely. Yes I think race change should be there, but at a high cost. make it that cost that people who really want and need it will pay for it, but not everyone just changes race every now and then. Imo it's just fair that we get a race change, many of us started playing at launch and chosen a race for their character without even knowing which ones would turn out to be the best. Since then the game has changen tremendously: removal softcaps (which made some races very very strong and some very weak compared to them), rework of many abilities, champion system. The game in the beginning was a completely different game as it is now, which makes race choices very important (which was no big deal at launch at all).

To give an example: at launch I made a Redguard DK, why? Because I've been waiting like 2 years for the game and Redguard was my favorite and they said race would be no such of an importance. So I rolled a magicka Redguard DK which was as susccesful as other, a bit more unique. I reached the magcika, magicka regen and spell damage soft cap and my stamina was really good as well because of the Redguard. Then softcaps got removed, CP came in and a lot of rework. If I run mag DK now I miss like several hundreds magicka, a lot of regen and my dps doesn't make it to be as competitive, and my stamina bonuses have almost no use at all anymore. It's so small.

So most people decide their build on the race they're stuck with. Which wasn't the purpose in the beginning. And it's no reason to blame ZoS either. It's just nice and fair they're going to implement the race change.
