Are there any class that would benefit vampire abilities ?

The forum only displays date and month, not year at least that I could tell.

So it's hard to tell what is current by searching for vamp

Are there any fun builds with vampire and if so what race and class would benefit?

I'm aimed at PVE with occasional pvp

Siphoning in nightblade has a lot of blood like effects, leaching, and cripples.

Dunmer nightblade or Sorc is also good. Dunmer has passives that grant resistance to fire damage. so that's a good race combo, Bats + Prox Det. sorc is good because of streak, you can prevent the victim from getting out of your ults area and nightblade has siphoning both make for some pretty good combo's.

used to be Dragonknight Dunmer vamps where the gods of Cyrodiil lol.

Also, vampire benifits sneakiness if you want that... On any class really, but some would argue nightblade.

First off think forum posts only say the year if they are not this current year so you will never find a forum post with 2015 in the time stamp... until 10 days from now.

I recommend looking up vampire skills/passives and matching them with racial/class skills/passives. I say this because finding an exact build is almost never going to match your playstyle and if it does limiters like CP's, gear, and potentially level will not allow the exact build.

That said I personally use: Sypher's Magicka Nightblade

Vampire and PVE don't mix well, fire damage is common. In PVP it's more useful for NBs focused on stealth or DK's and Templars looking for mobility, but it will make you more glass canon.

I solo PvE mostly with my Redguard vampire who's a duel-weilding/bow nightblade and I don't have much trouble, I think it's a benefit in all situations except where fire bosses are involved - but I enjoy the added challenge.

The stealth bonus works nicely with nightblades. I don't think Redguards are recommended for vampirism but I kind of like it because it boosts his poor base magicka regeneration a little, so I can use more magicka abilities now and then. Dunmer seems to be the race of choice for vampirism due to their fire resistance, and I see many people in 'heavy' builds using vampirism for added mobility.

I haven't PvP'd much with him but from the little I did I didn't find vampirism to be a problem, and as for dungeons he seems to be hit and miss. Depends on the dungeon's fire content.

That's what I thought aswell. Don't see any better choice (PvP-wise) so far.

I do not understand, how somebody can play like a vampire. The vampire is the same dirt ... And with the game point of view, if we analyze balance of game - a cheat class. It's like a thiefs, beating with two-handed sword, from invisibility, in the MMO.

My Breton Templar did very well as a vampire.

You got to love that speed sneak in PvP! Bet it would be fun on a nightblade. Once I get my new guy leveled up a bit I will try it out.

I think with the reduction of fire damage to vampires recently, I think any class would be fine... just throw CP into Elemental Defender. Any vamp I've played I've never had any problems in PvE but I always keep my character at Stage 1 vampirism too so I don't suffer the health regen problems. I often wonder if vamp players who have issues with fire damage have these issues because of lack of health regen, not extra fire damage... because I know many players don't bother keeping their vamp at stage 1 due to 30 minute feeding requirement.

For a lot of players the only reason they go vamp is for the stealth speed increase, which is primarily why I went vamp. Being a Magicka-based build, it doesn't make sense to run around with Night's Silence Stamina gear and lose out on much better Magicka sets. The damage mitigation from Undeath was recently fixed so now it gives even less mitigation than before as well. Also required slotting an ability to gain Magicka/Stam recovery can work for some, but many builds cannot afford a slot to add any.

Thus, going vampire is a mixed bag.

Just and advice, when starting playing ESO, FORGET everything about anyc rpg or you are going to be very frustrated.

Yes, vampires do have some bonus and yes, they do have weaknesses too. It is a classic in TES game, in fact in Morrowind and Oblivion I remeber to have died a couple of times trying to watch the sunrise xD.

In Cyro, Camo Hunter + silver shards kill more players than any other skill.

Now, to consider: In Cyrodil there's a war, and you know something? It is the more "realistic" war I've ever seen in a MMORPG, because in war you need to take the advantage over your enemies. If you don't believe me, just ask those Polish guys in WWII that tried to stop German tanks using cavalry...

Haven't benn on the forums for 2 days , but anyway it does, it counts as cloak, so if you spam surprise attacj/concealed you make use of the nb's passives you also get the 10% more wpn/spell dmg from the nb passives as well.
