Lop Sided Gear Acquisition?
Sitting here reading a thread about the coming PvP Vendor it occurs to me that putting the monster helms on a PvP vendor at all is simply another concession to the PvP players allowing them to bypass the hours of PvE grinding sometimes needed to acquire the items you want. PvP players can now do the thing they enjoy the most and still get the helms all be it at a high price perhaps.
This begs the question should there not be some sort of point system for doing PvE content where you can go buy gear? The only systems in the game right now are Alliance points, Telvar Stones and the Trophy Room items. All of which occur only in the PvP Zone? In addition why is it that all the gear you can acquire from these vendors is Bind on Equip and can be sold to make gold but Most of the good gear you get by doing PvE content is Account Bound? The drop rates on some of the sets you PvE for is so low that account bound drops seems unbalanced considering the PvP counter part sets are not Bound.
I am not anti PvP, in fact I enjoy it but as I was reading it just dawned on me this seems a bit lop sided and maybe unfair to the PvE players.
