Can we please get the Monster Merchant immediately?

I know they've announced a new merchant where you can buy Monster helms and shoulders. Im hoping that merchant can get quick patched into the game right now? For a dps like me who isnt warm, friendly, or sociable, we can't find 3 other players to help us farm these helmets. This merchant and a nerf to vMSA is inevitable so can we push the time table up? Right now when I see a Molag Kena helm, I resent that he was able to find 3 goons to help him farm it. When I see a Maelstrom staff, I resent that person had a sorc or nightblade alt to easy-mode it, while DKs who dont play other classes have to wait for the nerf. ESO is supposed to be a safe space but instead its triggering my anxiety.

Im Worried about you op, you said "We can't find 3 other players"

I got good RNG early on in there so I got a few good helms but I know it's frustrated a lot of players similar to the Skoria helm.

No ZOS has to make sure there all VR1 and have well-fitted or sturdy on them first.

About maelstrom, hopefully that class re-balance everyone is raving about is something that help's player's complete vMA. I personally have not completed it either. It's a gold and time sink. You also need to build for it, since i consider my self a niche player and build completely different from the meta, i cannot complete it until i do grind up a meta build -_- .

Also the Monster helm merchant should also help with player's who are trying to complete vMA. I do not PvE what so ever, once i get my hand's on some Monster Helmet's, it should be a little easier.

It suck's though, it's been confirmed vMA is 100% a dps race by a zos employee (Zos_Seiffer / only has twitch account). Not that it's a bad thing, however it make's sense why most of the player's who have completed vMA are probably Nb+Sorc dueler's who already had 100% damage "meta build's".

I'm actually just going to wait for new set's to come out ( the monster mask merchant included ) before i take a real attempt at vMA. Knowing the mechanic's of vMA requires some time to learn and skill to abuse. However if you don't make the cut with gear you not going to have a good time. So it's all about farming in Imperial City so you can make a PvE set if you only PvP like i do. I'm betting in the future, vMA will become a joke and you will have player's boasting they got "flawless conqueror" before it was nerfed xD.

As for the Monster Mask Merchant. I hope he/she come's next DLC.

No, and hopefully they do away with this NPC completely and just make the dropped sets BoE. Would be way better for the game.

Are sorc or NB "easy" win? Let's leveling alt and do it. JUST DO IT. Don't cry here. I hope ZOS will never nerf vMSA, cause it will be terrible decision.
And something about Monster set. I have Molag Kena with Impenetrable trait on shoulders and head. And i got 422k result in vMSA. Just go to vMSA and do it.

The devteam time table is really up to them, not us. We can talk about what we'd like to see, and those ideas that seem most popular and/or really good may get pushed up a little, but there is a lot they are working on, and I'd rather see balance, exploit, and bug repairs.

As for a safe space... I was unaware ESO is 'supposed' to be a safe space. It's an M-rated online game with PvP content, meaning you're going to get a wide range of raw, uncensored viewpoints that may conflict yours, and areas that are far from 'safe.' Not to mention the many horrible things happening to the people of Tamriel -- slavery... strife... murder... intrigue... terrorism... kidnappings... puppy kickers...

In troubled times like these, making a friend here or there doesn't hurt.

Just fyi op, zos have confirmed there will be no nerfing vmsa, they are happy with the difficulty and the amount of players completing it.

Don't like the idea that you can "buy" helmets & shoulders. I you want it... play and earn it.

And if you don't like to play PvE because you're a PvP-only-player... give me the option to buy Caltrops & Vigor without PvP...^^

That would be skills vs gear.
And you can buy pvp gear as pve er already. Time to even it out with a vendor.

Just ask in /zone chat for monster helmet farming, i'm sure there are peeps willing to come. If you're on PC that is. Or just do the daily pledges every single day. Recently I did the pledges everyday again, and I got the Engine guardian mask after one run of Darkshade. So who knows maybe you'll get Lucky this time too

. First I was optimistic about the merchant I and even farmed a lot of AP for it. But know I feel like doing the dungeos gives a better feeling if you achieve it than simply buying it. I still need the Engine shoulders, though. My char feels incomplete without it!

OP is a console player so there is no /zone for him

Well...was because of the point I "have" to play PvP to get the skills. And to be honest...these two skills are the only interesting things to get for me "outside" cyrodiil.

What I mean is that if I want something in PvP OR PvE I have to play PvP or PvE...thats simple. Many ppl run the dungeons only for the shoulders/helmets. I hope the dungeons will not be empty if you can buy it...

OP is a console player so there is no /zone for him

For console players no zone chat must really suck. I rely on zone chat on so many levels. For the sake of those players I hope in the next few patches that ZOS implements console chat systems.

You remember me from my nerf sorcs thread? How sweet! Being remembered means youre making a real impact in people's lives.
As for that sorc, I've made peace with the fact that particular sorc was a top end player, and that there are things I could have done differently that may have improved my chances. The thread was closed before I could report those new developments. But thanks for keeping me in your thoughts and I wish you a blessed holidays full of love and peace.
