PVE future in ESO

Greetings , First of all a big fun of elder scrolls series.. and the second thing .. Sorry if my english is a bit bad :) :P
Well , lets start ...

I belive the game needs a lot of improve in PVE .. the thing i play for my opinion the game is the pve .. Since a wow player in top 100 guilds of eu as a pve player.

i guess Eso needs expansions , dungeons , Continue storry , New raids !! but not DLC as they make.. the reason to write this is because i love the game..

but pve is a bit back.. i DO NOT compare the ESO with other mmo'w . but the PVE is really .. something like mess... not challenging.. is like .. no one cares to make raid's .. and IF its any guild here that doing progress ill want to be a part of it.. i hope in 2016 we see more improvements in thoose parts especialy PVE future and more things more stuff :)

Thanx a lot /@quojin

sorry for my english if bad.. trying... ;)

i wait for answers and opinions what u believe about that i wrote.

cya in game /@quojin

I think theyre going for 'do the grindy stuff 100-1000 times and pray for a 0.1% drop' rather than 'attempt the challenging stuff with your guild 30-40 times before you master it and get a reward with a 10% chance'. Its not that easy to design a challenging group encounter... its pretty easy to make a so-so fight with rewards based on absurd rng.

It is a DPS race with very little group dynamics. and raids are not old school its just easier to regurgitate solo content and four man DPS races then thoughtful encounters requiring timing and communitcation and large groups.

This game has the hands down best pve experience in mmo's currently, and it's only going to get better imho. If SWTOR had a less WoW play style and went a more 'risky' route like ESO did then it would be a tough call, cause SWTOR's quests are pretty good.

A game without raids , end game Bosses / Best ingame items i guess its dying. i LOVE <3 eso thats why im care for that.

raids will improve the game very very much.. thats why im care for.

in other thing. ofc ill continue to play the game.. but raids inside will be Perfect thing. gives more life to the END game content.

I agree with what you are saying but if you look around the MMORPG genre hard core end game content seems to be dying out across the platform. I think the days of the end game raid is at an end. I guess be thankful that ESO still has some semblance of it left.

i would like to see more trails/raids and there will be a new one added with the thieves guild. that said biggest problem this game has in combination with this is the TERREBLE RNG droprates. i dislike RNG anyway but i get that it's implemented in the storylines of the fractions (would like to see beter quest rewards though). but in trials when you have to run over a 100 times the same freaking thing things get a chore and it will burn out players. And to add to this problem they plan to drop a DLC every 3 months so in the time you get that mutch hoped set you can startover again in a different trial/dungeon. my opinion is that they shouldn't buff new gear as they do now and improve the RNG rate by alot. the buffing new gear like they do now also adds to the class imbalance issue and gives issues like the 50% damage in cyro which is now to the point gettig the same amount of damages as before this implementation where people got oneshotted. this was the reason why ZoS implemented the damage reduction in the first place which they make kinda redundant by this massive increase in damage with gear (ps. dont start about aoe caps this is not what this is about).
and if they implement new trials PLZ DO NOT NERF IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Interesting. For me swtor wins hands down in PvE. It was PvP which made me leave two years back.

They are old school in that developers will not waste the time or resources to make this content that the majority of their player base does not partake in. That is why they are going away. Like I said be thankful ESO is keeping some form of endgame around if the new 12 man trial makes it to the live servers.

Orsinium is a horrible laggy zone on PC EU. I don't have problems with any other zone except Cyrodill. Every other zone is very smooth at ultra settings. I think the large raid groups for the daylies in Orsinium are causing the lag.

Sadly the trend in MMOs is to replace any challenging content (which is difficult to design, implement and balance) with grinds/rng lotteries (quite easy to make in comparison) which are so annoying that people will buy the rewards out of the cash shop instead.

So if you prefer 'hell yeah!' moments over 'thank god its over' moments in your gaming then yes, you are SOL and JWF.

Considering what they have done so far I don't see them releasing any new content for free. Want new zones, new pve content, new whatever? Buy the dlc. End of story.

That is what I imagine their business model to be. But yeah I would like more pve, more group pve, more social stuff, more interaction with the world. More sandbox and less themepark.

That's probably also why they made all free endgame raids obsolete by raising VR cap to 16.

I dont get too much latency.Just on occasion, when I am fighting. The strike will hesitate before hitting, and it has almost gotten me killed. It's not very bad for me though.

Yeah it seems that they really want us to buy their dlc, orisinium is apparently the best levelling zone(at least that is what I have heard through the zone chats)

It really seems that I level up in Orsinium more quickly than other places.Perhaps it is because of all the things to do there.Lately I have noticed that when I'm running round just collecting mats, and killing the random creatures that attack me,I have leveled up fairly fast.

I have to disagree with you severely here.Swtor PVE is amazing in my opinion and very creative. While ESO PVE is just boring and repetitive. When I play Swtor it feels different and you want to hear the dialogue but here I just skip it.

Well its true that SWTOR's dialogue is much better and there is a much stronger feeling of being "in" the story however if talking about playing for free, that is without the subscription ESO wins hands down.

Really? Is that why so many millions of people play those games like WoW and FFIV? I know many people who left ESO since the end game raiding was VERY lackluster.

When ESO devs get passed the catering to the RP players and goes big with Raids they will bring way more players to this game.

I started running white gold tower a week ago, got together a group of randoms from my friends list that I'd played with a couple of times and went for it. Took us 5 hours the first time, we're down to 45 mins now, but it was so much fun learning new and challenging stuff, everything else PvE wise just feels like a push over now, they need to revamp the dungeons and make them harder.

I remember the threads here on this forum in the WGT prenerf era. I did the speedrun and the hardmode prenerf (omg, I freaking hated the Planar Inhibitor), no death run postnerf. I doubt to make them harder again will make you a lot of friends here, I know a lot of people who can't even compete with the current (postnerf) difficulty lvl. This game is full of ex-Skyrim-solo-RPGers who think ESO is TES 6 :-) You might moan about that, but nevertheless a developer cares for the people who deliver the bucks in the first place.

I started my MMO career with Everquest (3 years) and played WoW (5 years), HDRO (4 years) and SWTOR (1 year). WoW was a great experience, but to be honest, after being in a top 200 world guild and beating Sunwell Plateau, I felt exhausted and rated such games no longer compatible with my RL. Far too time consuming.

Zenimax promised new trials, so lets wait and see.

I might agree with the TO about the raid thing in general though, but he should bury his dreams that this game will ever be truly balanced. The revolutionary thing about ESO is the combat system and the freedom of choice concerning skill builds, based mostly just on skill lines and attributes (in my opinion they should even abolish classes and just rate them choosable skill lines). Freedom comes with imbalance, always.
