Instant death from fall damage after finishing tutorial level

So after getting back into this game after being away for several months I decided to make an Imperial Dragonknight in the Ebonheart Pact, after getting through the tutorial and escaping with the Prophet into the anchor I spawned in the little house at Davon's Watch...except I died. The momment I spawned I got the death sceen saying "Watch your step" and I had to revive. I made a second character and skipped the tutorial to see if the same would happen but it didn't, so I guess this only happens sometimes when actually finishing the tutorial properly. Is anyone else having this issue?

It happened to me as well! I escaped Coldharbour just the end up dead in the starter house. Haha.

At least it's not just me, right now i'm just continuing with older characters until they fix this issue, then i'll start again with a new one.

why? did this death stop your progress?
