Let me express what OP should have said if he was feeling more eloquent. This thread would not be possible without the following things happening:
- Launching the game in a beta state with a known dupe bug that ZOS was warned about in beta.
- Charging PC players a subscription fee to essentially beta test an incomplete game and using that money to fund console instead of fixing the game or the main quest which was bugged for months after launch.
- PvP getting neglected for the first whole year after launch.
- PvP having single digit FPS for 2 months after craglorn launched.
- The lighting patch and ani-bot patch that removed this game's ability to have "100s of players on screen at once"
- The removal of soft-caps and the addition of the failed champion system that made abusive builds rampant in cyrodiil
- Game-breaking bugs and exploits that go unfixed for an average of 3 months.
- Lack of any enforcement or moderation in PvP when you received reports of exploiting/cheating/hacking while at the same time, people would be banned in PvE for trolling an RP event.
- Intentionally Raising level to V16 (after promising the community that VR ranks were being removed) just to grab all our gear and make us buy your DLC to grind it all back with 5x the RNG and 10x the materials needed.
- Making a thread about AOE caps and avoiding the issue entirely and not even explaining the REAL reason why they are there.
- Having a level of quality so far below your competition.
- Broken champions in league get fixed in weeks, not months at RIOT. Ask Nick Konkle about that.
- Whenever Blizzard changes balance or abilities in starcraft they write a full page rationale to their players. They actually have a balance paradigm for their races! What is the balance paradigm for the four classes now? How do you like your DK?
ZOS the natives are getting restless. Your biggest twitch streamers and the largest guilds are actively looking for other games. You need to do more than just damage control. You need to look deep into what inherent barriers exist in your organization that continue to make this game, for lack of a better term, suck.
I will leave you all with an early video of what PvP was capable of before all the patches and neglect. Of what potential this game STILL has.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-DV9TwsosyI#t=2m12s
Go to the 2 minute mark. Look at how many players are on screen without lagging their Molag Bal's off.
So much potential.

Having a level of quality so far below your competition.
What? A level of quality below the competition? Which competition are you talking about?
- WOW WOD has less bug, maybe: but the expansion was boring due to choice of devellopement and players either focused on exclusively raid/arena, or dropped out of the game
- FFXIV: is a game that's succesful for certain, but maybe players (including me) can't stand it due to the combat system that feels old fasioned and outdated
- Wildstar: eeehh..let's speak about bugs
- Tera online: do not age well
- SWTOR: ehhh..let's speak about bad buisness model and ripping off players from their money
etc...
Only game I'd not discuss is GW2, because I still believe that game have done very little mistakes.

There is so much still coming that you really should give it a more fair chance. Someday you'll come back, see the state of the game, and say to yourself "man I can't believe I wrote this game off so soon... I sure missed a lot because of it!"
But it's your call and if you don't wanna be here then don't be here lol have a nice day!

Here is some more footage of that game. Check out this massive siege battle. Literally hundreds of players. No lag. Doesn't that seem fun?https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1vmmQVheKOk
