    Anytime I go into PvP I always get 300ms of ping regardless of what is going on. Mind you my ping outside of PvP sits around 240-300ms anyway because of being in Australia. The only issues I have in PvP are when my framerates fall off a cliff because of too many particles cause I like to have the details maxed out.

    I don't play pvp because I get lag spikes over 1000ms, and ESO is the only game where it happens regularly.

    I am not a pvp player, I am a pve player and its hard to play even PVE when leg goes over 500ms. When every action takes quite a while to do or is even ignored because it took too long. And I have a wired connection, and currently I am the only one in the house so no one is taking up the bandwidth.
    So no the issue is way more than just some pvp players having a hard time.

    Nope however you can be in up to 5 guilds, we have over 6 thousand Guild members world wide, playing multiple games,

    when ESO launched on PC back in April 2014 we set up 3 guilds each with our name and something extra added behind the name to make it a separate guild based on playing intrest, one Guild pve, another Crafting , And the third, PvP, with some pve. so we could fit those that came to ESO .

    Then I call BS on you good sir. Haderus, on console (all pvp really) is terribly laggy. So I just have to call BS on this. How long have you worked for ZOS? Lol

    I think they dont care, im getting 600-900 MS with high end computer and fiber connection 100/50 only in this game.

    Strange, I play on a 45mb connection, and a good rig, yet my ping is normally 70, maybe 130 in pvp, highest I've had is 300 in a massive zerg v zerg.

    There is no such a thing as overpopulated server. IC is taking its part of the players anyway. You like pvdooring great. Some people still remember how pvp looked way back before dreaded lighting patch. In fact that what i saw then made me buy the game. Not PvE with overabundance of very mediocre fully voiced fetch quests.

    At the moment, even swapping weapons in town is taking 5 seconds (the input lag is real), and there are people rubber banding like crazy.

    I really hope you realize that PvP is the minority group of players in ESO and therefore is definitely not the focus of ZOS. Did you not see how overwhelmingly successful Orsinium was compared to Imperial City? It wasn't because IC was bad, it was because the majority of players are PvE players. Even now I start a new character and am overwhelmed by how many players are in the Wailing Prison, even on an early Monday morning like today... so no, ESO is not dying, not even close, at least on the PvE side.

    On the lag front, it appears (from the player end) that the more calculations that the 'puter/interface has to to do on the fly, the worse the lag.

    As a really old-time pathetic example of this the very first computer my dad had, he tried to program a "pong" like game (points to anyone who actually knows what I'm talking about) and when he added a routine that added a noise when the ball hit the wall or paddle, the whole "game" got ... amazingly laggy.

    Yes, I know that 'puters, programming and such like is better, but the principle remains. The more calculations that have to be done more often, the more lag (like the notable lagfest that is post AoE cap Cyrodiil play).

    So my suggestion to ZoS is to remove as much of that as possible. No cooldowns, an ability functions or it doesn't (okay some have duration). Less animation - it should be obvious what skill is going off, but limit the pyrotechnics to Ultimates (and lessen those). No AoE caps. If there is a cap/limit, it should be on the caster and NOT something that has to be calculated and recalculated and rebalanced in the midst of everything.

    Just a thought.

    Problem is, in the early days of ESO you could have a battle with 100's of people with little lag. ZOS devs done messed something up, and a year+ later have still not been able to fix it. Speaks volumes really.

    When lag is too much it's simple PvE for me, I don't mind. But lag is breaking the enjoyment of PvP at these specific times.

    I gave up on Zos fixing anything after paying a sub for 8 months and nothing really getting fixed since they messed it up around the Lighting patch. Just hanging out now while waiting on CU.

    We started at launch with 1300 of us, 1100 quit after their 6 month sub ran out. they are still in the guild but no longer playing this game, but went back to whatever they were playing before buying ESO.

    OFC there is overpopulation. Thats why devs installed pop locks, yet i see in trade guild chat every night people asking for a port to Azuras, knowing its over populated and still joining in to make it worse.

    I dont PVP at all, so don't assume i like pvdooring.

    If PVP players spread out over many campaigns the lag would be less. Instead they all cram into Azura and QQ on daily forums about lag. Confusing indeed.

    The game may not die but the player base will continue to dwindle down. ZOS has already lost hundreds if not thousands of players to the Lag that is Cyrodil. The longer it persists, the greater chance of loosing more players.

    Game is not even enjoyable with the current state of the lag on console. It was so much smoother on release.. really wondering what code change broke the game. Between the immense amount of lag and no spell affects/particals it is the most unrewarding feeling in the world. There's no indication that you did anything useful.. no damage indicator, animations, two seconds delay. So bad.

    not sure what part you find unbelievable, the fact we had 1300 out of the 6 thousand members we have world wide join for ESO launch, or that 1100 of them quit after their 6 month sub was up ?
    seeing that we made three guilds all with the same name, but added a extra word to each of them to make them separate guilds inorder to fit all of us in.

    Oh boy I remember that particular fight as if it was yesterday. First time in Cyrodiil since the launch of the "new" game. We couldn't believe what was going on there. Who would have thought that this would be how PvP would look like for the rest of 1.6?

    How else are yo supposed to have large scale battles though? Which is what they billed this game as. These epic large scale battles. People are bound to be close together lol. Zenimax has clearly bitten off more than they can chew with this game. Their servers can handle the game that zenimax wanted this game to be. It's that simple.
