Why is the EP population so high...

On Xbox EP was the biggest but seem to have lost the most players and now AD is the largest at least in pvp population.

Fun facts
1) Skyrim ---> Nords ---> EP
2) Skull of Corruption is losing many of its DC players. Many EP and even a few AD groups are assigned to the campaign now. It used to be mostly left alone for DC PvE players, but now is farmed nearly 24-7 (especially late night) to turn the whole map Red.
3) Chillrend used to be a real PvP campaign but was taken over by the hordes of EP. Not fun being assigned to a campaign where you constantly spawn at your base because one faction is always pop-locked.
4) Pretty sure Thornblade was the same as Chillrend


At least 90% of the EP zergs are unorganized and weak when in small numbers. They will never take Azura's Star or Haderus as long as AD and DC groups don't leave the game.

Odd its the opposite on PC Europe - we are the only side without a campaign we dominate.

Many younger players played skyrim. That was most likely their first TESO game.

This is why i think E.P has such a large population.

Im also betting a lot of the older players left the game because of how this game has been running. More so players from DC.

I really wish the game gave you a random faction to maintain population balance.

Just play on lagzura with me where the population is capped @Kammakazi

I think its a combination of both Argonian and Dark elves, plus alot of TES fans wanted to see Morrowind again. And then theres all the people that came for Skyrim.

Personally I am not loyal to any alliance. I play and enjoy them all equally, but EP was my first choice, mainly for Morrowind and Argonians.

This, I have 6 characters and they're all dunmer. On Xbox US the AD and DC work together and stomp out EP.

I've also been wondering this lately. Whichever campaign, wherever I look, swarms of Red. Even in the non-vet swarms of Red. Seems majority of ESO players like EP.

Wait, you list 3 factions and 7 campaigns and you complain one controls one more than the other two?

You won't understand my frustration if you don't have multiple characters that you're trying to grind to VR 16 or if you're an EP.

I'm glad I finished all of my 6 DC characters to VR 16, and my last 2 are AD. So much easier to get to the decent grind spots: CWC & IC Sewers.

Because dark elves and nords are amongst the most loved races in elder scrolls?

Personally I dislike nords and argonians, so I want covenant with my dark elf. No regrets.
