Targeting woes

I need advice. So when I am fighting a group of MOBs I use Radiant Light, I want to be able to cycle through each target and plant one on eacy throughout the fight. The problem is the cursor gets in the way and I end up planting it over and over on the same target. Ive tried using tab and it seems to stick or respond very slowly. Of course trying to do this while getting beat on from all directions is the challenge. Does anyone have a good system for cycling through targets?

I wish there was a feature that allowed you to turn off the cursor as a target selector.
