Should I be using 2h or dual weilding as a stamina templar?

What are the ups and downs of both? I've used both before I just don't see the difference, I guess.

Both. 2 hander: rally (buff/heal), executioner (execute), crit charge (better gap closers than toppling charge)
Dual wield: rending slashes (good stam dot), rapid strikes (good damage for any class that doesn't have jabs), steel tornado (best aoe in the game), quick cloak (movement speed, valuable to templars) flying blade (ranged damage to avoid using now at all costs).

This is the current mindframe I was heading in between my first and current post. I was then curious on how switching between dual wield and 2H would work and you answered that perfectly. Thank you!
