Console "Save skills presets"

I had no idea how to give this a proper name, but one thing on console is frustrating me for quite some time. Whenever I change from pvp to pve and vice versa, I have to rearrange all the skills again. Now I do, in fact, am a lazy person, but it would still be very nice to have an option to save the arranged skills on console.
I know there are some addons for the pc which does this for you. I know Zos will implement some more advanced feautures on console, like damage numbers etc so why not also this?
It doesn't seem too much of work to make this feauture, and it can in no way harm the game, cause for exploits etc etc..

Thanks for reading !

I agree that it would be a great idea.

It will probably be a bit more involved from a programming standpoint though.

Let's say you create skill the preset. What happens if you respec and no longer have that skill available to you then try to use the preset. What happens if you preset a vampire skill then switch to werewolf and try to use the preset.

You probably don't want to allow switching to preset while in combat

If they give us this the next thing the community will inevitably ask for is presets for armor and weapons.

As a programmer I'm just saying that it could require quite a bit of thought and programming from their standpoint so it may not necessarily be easy. I totally agree that I would want to see it though.

As an addendum, this is probably why we haven't seen dueling yet. When you add dueling you magnetize flaws in 1 v 1 balance which creates additional outcries from the community and more work. ZOS probably just isn't ready to deal with that yet with all the other things on their plate.

Ah yeah I see your point. They could make it when you respec, it would automaticly reset the "skillpreset saver". In this way you do have to reassign your skills everytime when you respect, but it would still save a lot of time after the respec. Same as werewolf and vampire.

You do make a point with dueling, if this presets will be implemented it would be easier to quickly pick a build that will have a benefit over your opponent. But still it will only save time, and people will pick a more benefitial build anyway in dueling tournaments etc.

But its just one of those small things I'd like to see, but first let them fix the lag and focus on more important things ;)

I agree, this would be a cool feature. I think it would be great if holding left (weapon swap) would bring up a menu like holding up or right on the dpad. Instead of choosing an emote or a potion, it would allow you to choose a gear/skill setup. Setting up your presets would be a bit more complicated though.

I'm not sure if the problems mentioned here are really an issue though, problems like this are par for the course and don't take that long to solve. Interesting point with regard to 1v1 though.

Sorry to dig out an old thread but we really need this. Same goes for equipment presets (less important though). Devs???

This is a much needed feature. If a trash MMO like DCUO has this feature, how in the heck does ESO not already have it?
