Vet15 only gets low level materials in Wrothgar???

I am writing this on behalf of a friend who can't write in english.
He bought the Orsinium DLC yesterday and jumped out here to run around with me.
We are both Vet15 (on the NA server).
Where I see Voidstone Ore or Rubedite Ore, he see Iron Ore.
Where I see Nightwood or Ruby Ash, he see Maple.
Where I see Void Bloom or Ancester Silk, he see Jute.
When I get Rubedo Hide Scraps, he Raw Hide Scraps.
Odd thing is, the weapons and armors he gets from killed monsters is Vet15.

He tried relogging yesterday. Didn't help.
He's been off all night and logged on again today. Didn't Help.

WHAT IS GOING ON???

Not sure, but is this affected by ones crafter level?

Yes, it's based on your level in woodworking, blacksmithing, clothing, etc...

It requires that he levels his crafting skills???

So the game forces you to use skill points on those... That kinda ruins the idea of people being dedicated fighters and other people dedicated crafters etc...
But case closed I guess...
