Former PS4 Player with Grouping Question for PC
So a few months ago I got this game on PS4 and it was really fun, but as a single player game. The lack of text chat made grouping and trading almost impossible without sounding really annoying verbally saying "looking for group <content>" over and over again to everyone around you. Also with the veteran level system almost everyone I knew was a different level and we could never play together.
So my question is this: have they done anything to improve grouping for dungeon content? I have read in a couple threads that all dungeons scale you up to VR16 and put everyone in one pool together, but how does it work in practice / what are average queue times?
I love this game and want to come back, but I want to be able to play with the friends I make.

Praeficere✭✭✭✭Queue times very, can be super quick or super long. All depends on the time of day and dungeon. (Don't try searching for Selene's Web).
Members are only battle leveled if the group is formed by the group finder tool (under v14s scaled to great stats if they have good gear for their level) , else the dungeon scales to the leader's level and there is no playing scaling.Though the shadow has moved not,

✭✭✭A great feature of the grouping tool as it is now(also the only reason I ever use) is being able to group with players from other alliances. That's currently only possible through group tool but if, say, you and a friend from another alliance search at the same time you have pretty good chances to end up together.
Another one, as has been mentioned already, is battle leveling; also I think even the characters that don't get battle levelled still get some buffs while grouping via grouptool.
Wait time for actual pugging...Idk, they vary. I don't use it often.0 -
Eleusian✭✭✭I'm on ps4. The tool is improved. Everyone is scaled up so it makes pugging dungeons easier. But still is tougher than grouping by text. Still easiest fix would be text chat doing a LFG for tank , healer , dps. But I guess that's to simple for a mmo like esoPS4 NA0
