[Resolved] .003 second separation.

My Recount is filled with this particular player using crushing shock pretty super fast back to back. Even in a zerg's worth of other people hitting me, this player's hits are able to cluster together only .003 seconds apart (sometimes .002!). Any Ideas on how this is done? I couldn't whisper him to ask, maybe he was in offline mode or something.

Crushing shock hits 3 times per use (fire, ice and shock damage). They are supposed to hit all at the same time.

I see 2 clusters of 3 hits from crushing shock. Crushing shock does one hit of flame damage, one hit of cold damage, and one hit of shock damage all effectively simultaneously each time you use it. He's not doing anything other than using the skill. The 6 hits you see on your damage recap come from him using the skill twice.

That skill hits each you once with each element, frost, fire, and shock. Each of those elements have their own attack against you, and are independent of one another.

This is because lets say you're a vampire and have less fire resist, the fire portion of that skill will do more damage than the frost or shock.

So in reality that person is not casting Crushing Shock 3 times on you in 0.006 seconds, it's just that the skill is separated into 3 hits.

I figured it would just all group up as one giant "crushing shock" damage but that separation now makes sense!
