Display Current Buffs on Screen

I'm sure this has been talked about before, so it's more of a question rather than a suggestion. Are there any plans to make active buffs and debuffs display on screen for console so we don't have to go into our character sheet to see what buffs we currently have on?

In pvp and in mass groups I cannot see my own spells, so when I use critical surge, my hands do not glow with lightening, my wards don't glow around me so it's hard to keep track of what's going on and wasting magicka casting something that is still up. It would also be nice to know if I am effected by a bleed effect or another debuff. We need timers on these things. There just isnt enough information displayed on screen and in my opinion putting the active status of buffs in only the character sheet is a waste.

There is addons for that. I use LUIExtended

I know they're bringing their own floating combat text soon but don't remember hearing anything about buff bars.

Not just that, but addons sometimes tend to be prone to UI errors... I like addons, but I'd much prefer official support for certain key features (e.g. buff tracking, combat clouds).

aye, i like how World of Warcraft started making addons part of the base game (the quest tracker for instance) which due to popular usage was something they put in, hopefully ESO does the same but less plain looking like the addons, i miss seeing my default bars and enemy bars, i just want the buffs+durations, no need for fancy stuff

PC has it made Lol, at least you get addons that allow for things like this that make the game better or at least easier in certain aspects. But this thread was intended for console users. We need things like this on console since we cannot have addons.
