Really glad to hear that the team is making improvements. I'm doing my best to get my spouse back playing with me and away from SWTOR. A functional group finder will go a long way towards making that happen. He is a dungeon guy and loves the ease of a fully functional death star.....ooops........group finder. ;)

We had always stated that the improvements to the Grouping Tool in the most recent update was just the first step. We do have more systematic improvements and bug fixes coming to this tool in the Thieves Guild DLC!

    My opinions are:

    * DLC are every three months on AVG.
    * We shouldn't have to wait three months after three months after three months to get major game breaking issues fix.
    * Do game studios fire most all their coders after shipping a product? I refuse to believe it takes months after months to fix broken code, features, and bugs.
    * At some point your players will give up on waiting months after months after months for game breaking issues to be fix because the game studio desires to wait till the DLC.

Looking For GRP tool has been broken, lacking fatures, and a complete utter failure since the release of this game! How many years are we to continue waiting? Perhaps it's time to hire poeple that are experience in the area of coding because there's more that needs fix than LFG such as the Launcher.

Some of us are not novice to this. Some of us are old enough and wise enough to know better. I don't believe that these issues are being worked on hard enough at all. ESP when a lot of these issues has been a problem since BETA.

Well i'll end my rant and opinions with that. I may not trust or believe what ZOS tells us, but I do wish you all at ZOS a good day. :)

As a player who uses the group finder every day in order to get the daily pledges done, I have noticed some issues that needs to be immediately changed to ensure the longevity of the group finder. @ZOS_RichLambert @ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_AnaP @ZOS_AidanF @ZOS_AJ @ZOS_AjanJ @ZOS_AlexTardif

Here are my issues to the current state of the group finder.

    1. Being teleported into a dungeon when there is only 3 players found.
    2. DPS queing as all three roles to get a faster que time, then trolling the group.
    3. Lower levels being kicked because they are not v16.
    4. Cross alliance friends trying to que using the group finder and kicking other people out of the group if it is formed without all their friends.
    5. Low experience gained in dungeons when trying to level using the group finder.
    6. People queing and then leaving the same group multiple times.

And here is how to solve the issues of the current state of the group finder.

    1. A random pug group 3 ppl is not all that is needed to do veteran City of Ash, Imperial City Prison, or WGT.
    2. World of Warcraft solved this problem by checking your current build before you qued as a role.
    3. ZOS can fix this by hiding player levels while using the random group finder instead of supporting level discrimination.
    4. ZOS can fix this issue by adding a vote kick system with a time limit on reusing the vote kick system.
    5. Just because it was talked about being incorporated doesn't necessarily mean it will be added to the game, and it needs to be comparable to curent Cyrodil delve grinding.
    6. ZOS can fix this last issue by following what World of Warcraft did and add a deserter debuff which would prevent a reque to random group finder for a certain time limit.

In addition, many of these issues cause longer que times. Feel free to add more to the list if you have noticed anymore issues yourself.

The Group finder tool is better thaen its ever been. If someone checks all the boxes have the leader kick him.

The only thing that needs to be improved is the 3 person teleporting.

    BIG NO TO EVERYTHING ELESE

Not see level? This is a MMO do you just want to be carried

    3. Lower levels being kicked because they are not v16.

I'll have to agree with @UrQuan that anyone that kicks you for being lower than v16 for any dungeon other than daily pledges are jerks. ZOS can't really fix that.
That being said, there is some reason to have only v16 in a group. Particularly hard dungeons, such as Vet WGT and ICP, are dragged down pretty hard when you have someone who isn't equipped up to par or levelled sufficiently. I've completed a few v16 pledges with v13 players, but they really knew their stuff.

Group finder could do with more options to help sort out who it selects. A pledge function would probably be best. SOME discrimination is required for functional purposes.

And champion points were a step in removing veteran ranks and how long has that taken lol, really wish ZOS would stop adding half finished "features" to the game and fix what we already pay for.
