What the random delay after a gap closer is used?

Haven't played for a few months came on my character seems to decide to stop and welcome someone whenever they decide to do a gap closer??

Zos' way of saying they balanced streak. Can't figure out how to please people that complain about sorcs escaping fights, so they force them to stick around by freezing anyone who has a gap closer used on them.

Steak = 15m , Gap closers = 22m ....?

What a terrible patch, this is what happens when they listen to all the bad players who constantly cry on this forum.

no apparently they did it because gap closers bug out badly if the target moves away. instead of fixing the root of the problem they did this to work around it. it also prevents any actions due to a silence effect and has led to gap closer spam (ambush) being an unbreakable CC.

its been a while since I used a gap closer but it delays you for a split second? can you do anything like light attack or block/ bash to counter the delay?

No.

You can't cc break, roll etc, you are SoL

It has made Sorc's bolt escape worthless as an escape against most builds, especially NBs.

Yeah... makes IC a real fun time... for people without stones.

So you've never been on a DK, had a sorc streak through you for a stun, then streak again. Now they are at 30 meters ahead of you, pop boundless storm for some more of those lovely major expedition gains, sprint for a few secs, streak again. Now they are nothing but a memory.
Do not tell me that streak does not have an advantage. If it didn't stun, I would agree with you, probably. (No I don't think it needs nerfing, just had to point this out)

Well considering i break my stuns pretty fast and usually use immov pots, no, it's easy to just turn around and gap close.
