How do they plan on raising the CP cap? When is that going to happen?
I really hope they raise the cap with thieves guild to like 600...
They really should raise it small amounts monthly or something, say 20 points a month. I mean its not going to be long before a lot of serious players will hit that cap.

Considering how many players ZOS previously were way below the cap, I don't think they want to continue allowing "serious players" to increase their huge advantage over those 'less serious'. After all, why would those at cap need an advantage if fellow "serious players" were at the same level? Seems to me the only reason these "serious players" want a cap raise is because they want to continue their dominance over 'less serious' players. Plus, with the F2P weekend, they hope more new players come into the game... and if so... it will take these players quite some time to reach cap.

I recall they did mention on ESO live (not the latest, a previous one) that they won't be raising it by 500 each time, it'll likely be smaller increments like 100-200 or something. Of course, these numbers weren't solid, just an idea, everything could change for all we know.

How do you doubt in an environment were CP is unusable that it will be outmoded in that environment? If you can't use them you can't use them. The only element of conjecture is whether or not the majority moves to non-cp campaigns. I happen to think they will.
I'd rather get my behind kicked very throughly by the high c-point players then loose my hard-earned c-points every time I go to do cyrodil dailies...I cant imagine playing my char with 0 cp. I would have to re-do my entire build....I am sure most players with 200+ cp would feel the same. I think all the casual players would go to the 0cp campaign while more serious players would stay put. Who knows though I could be wrong.

You do realize that some players simply enjoy progressing their characters and, for these players, the game feels stale when progression is halted?

you are aware the game can't go beyond 3600 CP. it's just a way to look at the cap and the progression in it. for ZoS it would be more healthy to slowly raise the cap then increase the cap over 500-600 at a time
