Who is actually using the Armor Master set?

I am interested in what role it has gotten and how the experiences are, if any.

Yes, I am a 5+ HA, and I use it in a taunting Tank role in a group.

Ok as a crafter - (my tanks not max level yet) I have made 20- 25 sets and over 90% stated this role as the reason for using this set. Same percentage is all heavy. Maybe only one using the undaunted passive....

Magicka based DK tank (using harness magicka as armor skill). 26k HP, 24k Mag, 17k Stam, buffed phys/spell resists 32.5k/33.5k.

NB has Blur ofc, but majority taunting Tanks is DK, I guess.

This is definitely true. I keep Shuffle slotted on one bar and Harness Magicka slotted on the other - I'll use Shuffle far more often than Harness Magicka (I'll usually have Shuffle up virtually continuously during a boss fight, and I'll use Harness Magicka on average maybe every other boss fight), but I like to have the option to use the other as well, mostly because it draws from a different resource pool. Immovable and its morphs are absolutely overkill if you're using this set.

My tanking gear is 4-piece heavy Armour Master, 1-piece light Armour Master (the sash, naturally), a heavy monster shoulder, a medium monster helm (until I get an Engine Guardian shoulder that I like to go with the helm that I've already got, I'm using mismatched Nightflame & Maw of the Infernal so that I get a 1-piece health bonus from each), 3-piece Agility (necklace, ring, shield on each bar), and 2-piece Endurance (ring and sword on one bar, axe on the other). All armour pieces have gold prismatic enchants. I find this works very well for me - far better than the VR14 gear I was using previously (5-piece Hist Bark, 5-piece Footman's, 2-piece Ashen Grip).

It´s one of the sets i would definetly want to try out on a v16 setup. But since i´ve already got a couple of sets crafted and have no interest in farming even more mats i can´t. Thanks zos for adding this rediculous grind to get v16 items !

Really glad to see others using this set and using it with evasion/Harness magicka as i have had so many arguments about this.

I do the same depending on the fight - slotted 1 on each bar. I use endurance and willpower sets though, each bar set to get the 1 of the 3 piece bonuses - mostly stamina skills on bar 1 where i have endurance 3pce set, mostly magicka skills on bar two where i get full willpower 3 piece bonues, eg chains, eruption, etc on 1 bar, heroic slash, absorb magicka etc. Harness magicka on stamina bar, evasion on magicka bar so they use the opposite resource pool - i have 30k health, mag and stam between 23-24 each one high one low depending on which bar is activated.

It may be overkill, but for Manti, Serpent and Warrior i prefer to use unstoppable and not weapon swap. Put both taunts on bar, Unstoppable, Obsidian Shield, Dragon Blood, block whole time, and use the relevant skills depending on whether stamina or magicka pool is higher.

I dont know who uses it but Ive crafted maybe 5 Master Armor sets in past few weeks, its not most popular but still people use it.

I use immovable for most fights, swapping out for Shuffle and Harness Magicka.
